If he didn't get hurt last year, he was on track to take the starting job from a supposed All Star......he's very very good.

He knocked up his girlfriend and nothing we could do was going to keep him. Get over it and move on.

The entire front 7 is gonna be a load. I think Wilson will be a bit of a revelation on the weak side...

Around the League: 2019 Off Season
It's the "slippery slope" that gets me the most. I'm terrified of getting to 0 and I'll have almost no reason to watch anymore. I know I'm in the minority but I watch for Canadians... The rewlnones who come from Canadian HS to CIS to CFL. That's the league, in my eyes...

Nick Bastaja was a straight up beauty... Beast up the gut. I had a lot of love for Matty Sheridan as well. In a position where you're essentially looking for a bar room brawler, that's a guy you want having your back...

- Game 71 : Through The Fire And Flames
Calgary Flames fans are AWFUL....and really dumb hockey fans. Big time bandwagon jumpers. Nothing pleases me more than the fLames losing. Get it done, Jets...- Game 70 : Massachusetts
First time I've had any belief in the "Scheif/Wheels are crap" narrative was Wheeler turning the puck over with :30 left, not getting the puck cleared properly because he tried to cutesey it instead of just getting the damn thing out of the zone. It was very close to ending up in the back of our net and tying the game again. Now, having said that, I still believe we've got some key players playing way more hurt than they're letting on...- Around the League: 2019 Off Season
Some League/PA bargaining stuff........ https://3downnation.com/2019/03/13/qa-cflpa-discusses-the-opening-cba-negotiations-and-whats-next/?fbclid=IwAR25DRBIwL9Ne5_Rk8HcYY9n16oZOMlPul8y_3BFQQjcGHhiUxu4yc1XBc0- CFL Considering Resurrecting "Regional Player Protection"
Ahhhhh okay, I missed that part. One I could handle.... I thought it was every player belongs to their province of origin.- CFL Considering Resurrecting "Regional Player Protection"
When you consider how many players come out of Quebec, it wouldn't do anyone any favours if other teams weren't allowed to draft them...- CFL Considering Resurrecting "Regional Player Protection"
Players will hate it, and they should...- CFL Considering Resurrecting "Regional Player Protection"
https://3downnation.com/2019/03/13/ambrosie-says-he-has-been-working-on-an-alouettes-strategy-for-months/ We’re looking at solutions to how do we help the teams recover more quickly. For example, our league had going back until I think it was 1984 a territorial program which allowed the teams to select a player from within their local region,” Ambrosie said. “If you look at how strong and how powerful college football is here in Quebec, if you look at Montreal and Laval just to name two. The CEGEP programs here are fantastic. We’re talking about can we potentially resurrect the territorial program which would give Montreal access to a great college player from within their market and hoping as it had done in the past that’s a recipe for getting more talented guys on the field.” Definitely don't like this........- The MBB All-time Blue Bomber team: Mount Rushmore and the all-time Happy Honkers
Walby is the best OL of all time in the CFL, so he gets a spot by default. I'm tempted to give Bryant the other one because he's been so good and so steady. Feel like Frank Rigney, Buddy Tinsley and Dave Mudge all deserve serious consideration tho. Guys like January, Goodspeed and (especially) Perez aren't even in the same class...- The MBB All-time Blue Bomber team: Mount Rushmore and the all-time Happy Honkers
hmmmm....I don't see Miles Gorell on that list of Tackles....- The RIP 2019 Thread
Had no idea Randy Turner was even sick. **** cancer, man. Turner was a Bombers columnist back in the day and was so unbelievably talented. He did Odds and Sods after every home game and they were as funny as they were well written. He was a huge curling fan and while he did write about it often, he also curled in the big MCA Bonspiel every year for a good number of years. He was the first writer I ever saw use the term "Grand National Drunk" to describe the Grey Cup, and it's stuck with me ever since. In recent years, he became an absolute must-follow on Twitter, as his ability to be the most sarcastic prick in the room translated well to that medium. Legend doesn't seem to describe it well enough...one of the best Winnipeg media personalities ever. Period.- Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
I'd prefer that loophole didn't exist...- Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
The problem isn't with the number of NIs, its with the quality of players coming out of CIS. I say we improve quality of NIs so we can INCREASE the ratio.- Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the ratio is EXTREMELY important to me. I'd rather watch a team of all Canadians than a team of all Americans. The NFL can have all Americans....I want a league that's about MY country and people who were born and raised and went to school here!!- The MBB All-time Blue Bomber Team: Centre
******* kids today.....- Game 68 : @ Near the Memorials to Vietnam and Lincoln
I'm betting a number of guys are playing very injured....leaders do at this time of the year. - Game 71 : Through The Fire And Flames
