Also rumours floating around of team turmoil....that maybe Draisitl slept with someone close to Nurse (possibly girlfriend, possibly his sister...) and they had a huge scrap and things are not well within the room...

actually the current Royal Blues started out as 3rd/Alternate jerseys.....those were the last ones we had.....then they became full time last year.

this Argos team is better than that RBs team, zero question. Other than being freakishly healthy last year, they really didn't have a lot going for them. Hell, Harris was supposed to start that GC game until he got hurt right before kickoff and Burris had to start....(OH LORD, WHAT MORE MUST HE OVERCOME????!!!!!)

Amen....I've never been the most politically correct person, but actually living in Rural Alberta has changed my point of view on a lot of these things and made me WAY more cognizant of sexism, racism, xenophobia, etc (because it's so prevalent here).....and I find myself standing up for it way more than I would have ever thought to in the past.

Re: Burnout....here's a thought, take it for what it's worth (not much): As much as these comic book movies are made for the nerds who've been there for years, there's a chunk of the movie going public who're like me.....never read comics, totally new to the entire universe thing. Marvel got me first.....Iron Man was the first one outta the gate, and it was awesome, and I was hooked. So then I gotta watch every GD one that comes after it, so I stay in the loop. I've got a lot of time invested in this stupid GD MCU. I am absolutely not going to spend even more time with DC....it's more than enough effort to keep up with Marvel. So, I'm wondering how many others are like me.....already invested in Marvel, 'cause they got us first, and not going to bother with DC. Maybe a part of it? Also occams razor: DC movies suck, Marvel movies are really good.

I'm really sick of the Argos getting Grey Cups when their shitty fan base (present company excluded) doesn't deserve it......but I hate the Stamps fans more than anyone other than Riders fans. I'm also a Frito Ray Fan 4 Life, so all of that puts me firmly on the Argos side this weekend...
