Kongbo will get reps spelling off Roh and Jefferson, for sure...

Pregame talk: Patriots North come to town
JJ hasn't practiced all week, so there's no chance he's playing vs Calgary, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if all of a sudden he's 6-gamed tomorrow when the depth chart is released. They never tell anything straight, when it comes to injuries...

Pregame talk: Patriots North come to town
It'll be Arbuckle this week, for sure...they won't rush BLM back. He ran the 2's this morning and Arbuckle the 1's.....depending on how this week goes for them, BLM *might* lead the charge next weekend...

Game Day Thread- Bombers at Arblows
I read someplace earlier this season that at the end of 2018, there were calls from above to axe Hall, but MOS went to bat for him to keep him around. So there's that...

Matt Nichols Discredited Too Much? Passing Yards Are Meaningless

Pregame talk: Patriots North come to town
Again, I think the new interior WAS good, but in the last two games they've had a lot of problems.

Matt Nichols Discredited Too Much? Passing Yards Are Meaningless
In defense of myself and 17to85, I was getting married this weekend and he was a groomsman in our wedding party....

Pregame talk: Patriots North come to town
Lotta talk about the quality of our OL but I'm not convinced they've been very good during the last couple games. I think that interior and Hardrick playing injured has caused some issues for our offense...

Game Day Thread- Bombers at Arblows
So in regards to our coordinator situation.... Are Jordan Younger and Coach Buck the next in line? I mean it's not like there's a bunch of experienced quality guys out there.

Regular Season Bomber News
Not sure where this goes, but here's some interesting stuff from Naylor on next year's FA class, with a focus on Streveler...... https://www.tsn.ca/naylor-s-kickoff-desperate-argos-turn-to-collaros-1.1345309 The 2020 Free Agent Class Their star power isn’t as bright as last off-season but there is an intriguing trio of quarterbacks potentially headed to free agency this coming off-season. None of them is proven, but all have made an impression on the rest of the league. Given how the market inflated among the league’s top-paid quarterbacks heading into this season, one has to believe the market for promising, still-unproven quarterbacks may be up as well. At the front of that class is Winnipeg’s Chris Streveler, the second-year player for whom the Bombers design weekly packages, which he has been executing with calmness and precision. Streveler is a physical freak, a former receiver whose testing scores coming out of college were better than the quarterbacks at the top of his NFL draft class. Streveler became the first CFL quarterback in 24 years last season to start his team’s season-opening game, stepping straight out of college. He didn’t look overwhelmed and immediately grabbed attention from around the league. Can Winnipeg really afford to keep him and Matt Nichols beyond this season? Many GMs around the CFL believe that Streveler could start right now. And, if he goes to free agency, at least one of them is presumably going to be willing to pay him more than Winnipeg can in a backup role. The fact he’s hired agent Dan Vertlieb, who has excelled at increasing salaries for his quarterback clients, is another sign Streveler is looking to maximize his worth this coming off-season. Calgary’s Nick Arbuckle also comes up for free agency this off-season. And while the wow factor hasn’t been quite as large with the 25-year-old quarterback, it’s been impossible to ignore how composed and efficient he’s been, completing nearly 74 per cent of his passes while filling in for the injured Bo Levi Mitchell this season. Cody Fajardo signed a one-year deal with Saskatchewan this past off-season, coming off consecutive seasons in Toronto and B.C. where he finished as the No. 3 quarterback. Neither of those teams saw him as having starter potential in the short term, but in Saskatchewan he’s run away with the No. 1 job, throwing 12 touchdowns against five interceptions and passing for more than four times as many yards as he did during his first three years in the league. At 27, the he and the Riders would be smart to get something done before the season ends.

Around The NHL 2019/2020
the one thing I will never understand about Alberta is this idea that you can't ever spend tax dollars on anything. You need to save, always.....for what? Well, that doesn't matter....just don't spend it....ever. Calgary is a world class city...you deserve world class facilities!!

NFL Coming to Winnipeg for Preseason Game
Again, it's just my own personal thing, but I feel like those who are STRICTLY CFL/CIS are more hardcore than those who are just football fans, and will watch all football, regardless. I am perfectly fine with being seen as crazy on this (I'm used to it) but it's 100% how I feel...

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Collaros was cleared to practice this week, but Riders chose not to put him out there (which honestly is the sensible thing to do...) but you know that ZC is gonna keep trying until he's carted off for good......poor bastard.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Riders screwed if Fajardo goes down?? Riders are screwed if Fajardo DOESN'T go down....their offense is garbage and their record is a mirage.
