  1. ...this...because as much as we want to ***** at the refs, it's on Goosen for not snapping it. Even if he snaps it and it's a fumble, it woulda been whistled down for the offsides...
  2. I hope the Riders lose 65-0 (and that would be too good for them) and I hope the Esks/Stamps both look like **** and a whole pile of players go down with non-career threatening injuries, and then whoever goes to the final vs Toronto, I hope both them and Toronto look like complete dog **** and even more players suffer non-career threatening injuries.....every single team and player remaining can go f*** themselves with a rusty fork....
  3. Yeah, people are really over-estimating the role of the goaltender. Yes, Helle has been great this year, but he was also WAY better than most thought last year. The real difference is that the team, as a whole, is playing much tighter all around. They're not giving up the crazy high-quality scoring chances like they did last year. Simply put, they hung tenders out to dry a LOT last year, and this year, everyone's taking some defensive responsibility.
  4. I've really been enjoying the Menendez Murders on NBC this year.....some really crazy stuff talked about that makes it a bit of a "tough" watch, but it's really good.
  5. speaking of potential guys for next year -- what's Gray's story in GB? Is he just practice roster all year? (Not that there's anything wrong with that...)
  6. man, I forgot about Demski....in my mind, that's a guy you GOTTA make a big push for. I don't know if he has buddies on the WBB, but somebody better be rolling out the carpet...
  7. Re: 2 NI Rec...... They are REALLY high on Coates and will definitely look to make him a feature next year...
  8. I think they had some brain farts, but to be honest, I thought Alexander and Walker looked pretty good for the most part this season and showed marked improvement as the season went along. I still think both of those guys are good finds, and while he's no Mo Leggett (who is??) I still believe Kevin Fogg is solid, and was playing the hardest position on the field the past couple weeks and for the most part, didn't totally embarrass himself...
  9. how much of this is due to change in personnel and starting rookies on an entire half of the field? Speaking just for the WSF, you've got 2 rookies in Alexander and Walker, and a second year guy in Fogg all back there.....that's not usually a recipe for success...
  10. this was a "Thank You Bombers!" thread for people looking for some modicum of positivity........why you gotta come here and **** on that for no reason?
  11. I think one of my bigger issues with your statement is that you (nor anyone here) don't know what his system is. We don't know what "problems" are systems, schemes, execution/talent, or otherwise.....we see that the team gave up lots of points and yards, but nobody here knows why exactly. Everyone's just guessing...
  12. I think the only point I really care to make at this point is that there's enough blame to go around. The narrative around here is "RICHIE HALL SUXX00RS!11!" and it's ridiculous because there's so much more than that. There's a whole "big picture" thing that includes everyone, top down.
  13. I'm curious about our current position coaches, and if we've got someone in house that might be the next DC.....
  14. I saw a Tweet from Jason Vega after the game, clearly not happy with the narrative of "Fire Richie Hall!!" ....he seemed to indicate that the issue is with players, and not co-ordinators. Where he lost me was when he said it was the same thing with Etcheverry....suggested that Etch didn't deserve to be fired. That seemed odd to me, but still......Vega would know......
  15. Find another Thorpe without the attitude and that'll go a long way. Rec and LB will be big on the scouting list this offseason but I know we have the majority in place.
  16. I'm backing Booch.... Get the dump truck full of money and back it up to Steinauer's front door. That's your guy, right there...
  17. I'm hoping you both can shed more light on this topic. I was 1 at the time, and while I've read about how difficult it was for us in the days of Warren Moon, I'd love some first hand knowledge of how that went and how it compares to today...
  18. Most players saying they want to be back next year but Medlock considering retirement. Will test FA and look at all options.
  19. All that matters here. Right call was made, execution let them down.
  20. while missing some of our most integral players to injury, and our single most important player had a broken finger and a damaged left calf that wouldn't allow him to run....
