Disappointed, as I thought (at first) it was going to be a clip from Princess Bride (Patinkin and Crystal) or Robin Hood Men In Tights.....until I read the clip title.

Byfuglien contemplating NHL future
and this is a really good reason why NHLers wouldn't want to play in a super small (relatively) NHL market like Winnipeg.......seriously, people.

But with one game to play, and knowing he's your only hope in playoffs, why take a risk of him getting hurt? They gain nothing/lose nothing in this game...- GDT - Stamps @ Bombers
the best revenge is winning...**** absolutely everyone in this league that is not part of our organization. Shove it up every one of their asses. The injustices toward us this season are monumental......**** every last one of them.....- NHL Injury Watch 2019/20
Scary stuff with Letestu, but good news is he'll be 100% when it's all said and done.- GDT - Stamps @ Bombers

I was sorta hoping that BLM might be dinged up, too, but this will help.....wouldn't mind if their D took some hits as well. It might be Danny ******* O'Brien's only hope. I have a gut feeling BC is going to sneak one outta there at home, in front of both of their home fans.....somehow, some way......- 2019 CFL Season: Around the League

Jets don't seem to be overly impressed with this situation. Sounds like he was thinking about doing it, and told them he was thinking about it, but never told them when he actually decided and then did it. I can understand that. Still, I feel like him freeing up cap space is a good thing. He's a write-off for this year and at best he can look at coming back to camp next fall, if he feels up to it.- Playoff Predictions

this is sort of random and mildly off topic, but I've always been curious what part of Winnipeg is "enough" for NHL players with NHL money. I know Chipman has property along Roblin West (kinda out by Shelmardines and Breezy Bend) and there's some really nice places out that way, backing on to the river......but south of the perimeter makes a lot of sense, too.- Byfuglien contemplating NHL future
I fully believe that Buff would help the team by going on suspended leave eather than just collect a paycheque...- The BEER thread

fwiw, in his media availability, Willie Jefferson also indicated that he is representing Harris for MOP. This team will rally behind this, you better believe.- CFL Player Award predictions
always worth your click, our boy Tait....... https://www.bluebombers.com/2019/10/30/andrews-leader-team-player-awards-nominations-met-controversy/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter of note: Can't blame Friesen......it was Jeff Hamilton (along with the aforementioned Wyman and Bauming) that threw Harris under the bus...... Actually, that spark has morphed into more of a raging inferno, as Andrew Harris was completely shut out following voting conducted by the local chapter of The Football Reporters of Canada – Bob Irving of CJOB, Jeff Hamilton of The Free Press, The Sun’s Ted Wyman and Darrin Bauming of TSN 1290 – along with Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea.- 2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Very sad news as former Alouettes HC Charlie Taafe passes away at the age of 69 after battling cancer.... https://www.cflaa.ca/two-time-cfl-coach-of-the-year-charlie-taaffe-dies-at-69/?fbclid=IwAR0Md0OGpGVwyGQMFJQC2WLV7SB4DpCIStkkEl3KELeRWwMFlJNb8_gE7FU- 2019 CFL Season: Around the League
^___________ For those who don't want to click the vid link, Lalji says Braley not impressed with the coaching hires and is expected to make very quick moves as soon as the season is done.- CFL Player Award predictions
Yep...Naylor mentioned that Bauming said their take was "It's not good for the league" and Farhan Lalji immediately said "who are they to decide what is or isn't good for the CFL??" and I think that's a really good point.- 2019 CFL Season: Around the League

For me, it was Doug Brown that sold me during a pre-game show shortly after it happened. He basically said "trust me, if anyone would know about this stuff, I would....he didn't do it" and said that he got a text from someone in the organization saying "there is absolutely no way he did it because trust me, he's got a Dad-Bod...that dude doesn't juice".....all this, plus the fact that he's been as good or better since he came back from suspension leads me to believing him fully. I was worried for a bit early on, but after doing enough research into it and listening to people who would know, I fully support and believe AH33.... - CFL Player Award predictions
