I have a great shrink and a wonderful cocktail of meds that keep me even....thank goodness for it.

1) Marcus Brady was a truly awful back-up QB in the CFL...... I have no idea what kind of coach he'd be. 2) Comparing Rourke and his bum foot to Streveler and his injury in 2019 is laughable. Rourke is a good QB, make no mistake, but Chris Streveler is a Manimal. He's not fully human. I personally don't believe Rourke has the internal (or external, for that matter) strength to do what Strevy did in '19.

I am clinically anxious. I suffer from a (literal) insane amount of anxiety. So I will never ever be truly comfortable no matter how much better the Bombers might be than a given team. I can always see the 10 scenarios where we might lose, before I see the 100 scenarios leading to a win. It's just the worst, but all of this is to say that I understand you!

have this vague recollection of being out camping at Big Whiteshell and listening to the game where he was in hospital awaiting that last-minute heart for transplant. I seem to remember Dunigan talking and being super emotional about how they wanted to get the win for him and how much Cal meant to the team. Kindly Cal (ironically)...... absolutely the most important Coach/Manager in Bombers history with Bud Grant (it's a virtual tie, IMO). So thankful to have had him.

Whether he comes back to Winnipeg or not, Strev will be a Bombers legend for life, after that playoff run (and all he did within it) and the post championship celebration... Afaic, he is a Bomber for life.

Jesse's crying about how we all need to be more excited for Rourke's impact on the league makes me want to re-post a thought I had earlier in the season as to why I'm most "meh" about Rourke: They talk about Rourke accomplishing all he has this season "as a Canadian", as if being born in Canada somehow makes it special. It's not nationality that makes successful Canadian QBs special....it's where you played your formative years. Rourke went down to the US early, played prep school ball down there and then through the NCAA. He is no different than any US QB that has come up here...he just happens to have been born in Canada. If you want to get excited about a "Canadian QB", then it's Tre Ford you should be excited about....born, raised, trained and CIS all the way. If HE can be successful up here, then THAT'S a story. But Rourke is just another American with the right birth certificate......no different than Cahoon or Woogie or whoever. That's why I am sick of hearing about Rourke...

Bombers Fans online complaining about the Thomas thing, and it's pissing me off. **** Rourke. I hope the players are as sick of hearing about him as we all are. **** that kid and **** the Lions.

Another thing: Receivers are outright scared of Brandon Alexander. Just his presence puts the fear of God into players and causes drops.

So many great efforts. How about Parker and Ford in the D backfield?? Outstanding. This team is so much better than anyone else in the league. We're just on a whole other level.
