Dude, now you're being an ass. I posted what Drew Edwards said in his story that ratings on TSN have been down the past 2 seasons & that was the reason for the mic'd up game yesterday to try to get a hit in the ratings. I did it because I subscribe to 3 Down Nation & I read it on the weekend. So, why do you feel the need to come after me? Instead if you don't agree then why don't you prove that Edwards is wrong & you're right? That ratings are up instead of down. Show me how Edwards who has all kinds of CFL contacts with TSN, in the CFL head office, team management, coaches & players all across the league is wrong. I just posted the story as I thought it was timely in explaining why the game was mic'd.- Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
I'm pretty sure it was Canadian Pacific.- Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
I think it was Canadian Pacific. If not, Air Canada. Man, that was 42 frigging years ago. I was 19.- Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
You remember that trade? Man, I'm truly impressed. It was the day after Labour Day in Regina, Sept, 1974. I flew out for that game & went to see it with my cousin who lived at that time in Regina. I happened to have the same flight back with the Bombers to Winnipeg as I had to work the next day. The best thing I remember about that flight was Bombers OG Tufuuli Uperesa was flirting with a flight attendant & putting his hands where they shouldn't have been. (I actually saw him touch her ass). He ordered a drink & she brought it to him. She "accidentally" spilled the drink all over him & he became enraged. However, immediately when he saw his teammates howling with laughter he settled right down & started laughing himself. Score one for the flight attendant. You go, girl! Story was GM Earl Lunsford had consummated the Jonas for Ealey trade on the plane or before & told him as he was getting off. (I don't know if that was true or not, just what I had heard). The 2 teams announced the trade the day after the game on Tuesday. The game was played on the Monday instead of Sunday back then, IIRC. At least Jonas went out a winner for the Bombers defeating the Riders in the Labour Day game which doesn't happen often these days.- Donald Trump
Pretty scary to think that Junior could be our PM into his 60's. Especially if the Conservatives elect Maxime Bernier or any of the other non descript leadership candidates that served under Harper who seem to be reluctantly crawling out of the woodwork to sniff the air whether they should run..- Hamilton at Calgary - Aug 28

And you are taxed from the day you are born to the day you die. Norway is also all in on oil revenues. They don't have special interest groups railing against oil pipelines. So, you can't compare Alberta or Canada & Norway.- Bombers @ Alouettes
The CFL has been called a Quarterback League not an Outside Linebacker League. With the amount of passing we do it is all about the quarterbacks.- Bombers @ Alouettes

WTF above??? Anyway, how can things get sorted out when they'll call a DB for illegal contact at 5.1 yards, putting a hand on a shoulder which has no bearing if the ball is incomplete, call illegal contact when a receiver & db accidentally collide, the coaches challenges for not just defensive PI, but offensive & illegal contact, as well as roughing the passer rules? All it does is cause delays & interrupts the flow of the game with all kinds of flags & penalties. This won't get 'sorted out". This is it. This is what a CFL game has become. It's all about penalties now. On pass plays it's a 1/3 chance a PI call will occur.- Alberta Economy & Oil (Split Discussion)
Well sure because it protects jobs in the manufacturing sector of Ontario. We all pay more for everything but it's nice to know Harper & Trudeau take care of their voter base.- Similarities to 5-1 Start in 2014
Hey, keep smilin'. You have to be an Eternal optimist when it comes to the Bombers.- Alberta Economy & Oil (Split Discussion)
And Toronto is the centre of the universe & Canada does not exist west of the Ontario border, Gosh, what province controls the political system in this country?? Just who thumbs their noses at who??? Ohhhhhh, Ontario. And, why is the monetary policy in this country all about a weak Canadian dollar? To protect all those precious manufacturing jobs in where?? Ohhhhh, Ontario.- Hamilton at Calgary - Aug 28

I thought the arbitration process on suspensions was a joke in the NHL with the Wideman cross check. But the CFL takes the cake.- Donald Trump
Trump just says what he wants when he wants to. He could say something on immigration today & his surrogates are on every talk show on tv & radio defending what he said only to reverse his stand tomorrow making his surrogates look like fools. Then these same surrogates will defend him to the death for his right to change his mind over & over & over. Trump & his entire campaign is a joke. Just a total joke.- Similarities to 5-1 Start in 2014
One fan starts a thread claiming we have the beginning of a defensive dynasty. Others say we're winning with smoke & mirrors. Even when we win the fans here fight. I guess that's what losing for so long & so badly will do. We want to believe. We want to think it's real. We want to win. is it? Isn't it? And then the alarm goes off at 6 am.- Similarities to 5-1 Start in 2014
Your name is???- Potential defensive dynasty
You can bet that decisions on personnel will be made before FA next February.- Bombers @ Alouettes
Okay so who's the coach we should have? Who's the guru coach who would turn Nichols into a qb machine & have our offense scoring 45 points a game? Every coach we have is just never good enough, after all. Just can't satisfy some fans.- Donald Trump
What a douchebag quote. What an *******.- Donald Trump
Effing Trump. Man, makes me long for Reagan. The first term Reagan. Not the second term one.- Potential defensive dynasty
I remember when he signed the concern was he'd play 1 season for us & have the chance to move on if he wants to. That was mentioned in the media so I'll go with what they said. Now, if we have a great year he may want to stick around & sign another contract. - Hamilton at Calgary - Aug 28
