  1. Literally no-one wants to coach there so when someone tells them they actually want to be there they lose their minds.
  2. I see, so Buck just has to save face after no one knew he was a top candidate until rider media started tweeting about how he was their choice but actually they were wrong it was mace all along. Ok got it.
  3. People actually put weight into what that tool says? He doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.
  4. They did have a bye week before playing BC...
  5. It's a game of inches, you are viewing fatigue as being too tired to get out there... it can be as simple as that one step slower. Fact is our star players are on the wrong side of 30 and the best this D played was with heavy rotation on the defensive line. Fatigue is absolutely a factor. I don't know what more evidence you need to see.
  6. Retired pretty early (relatively) because of all the injuries I think and then jumped straight into coaching.
  7. Oshea has been the head coach here for a long time and as we all know coaches are hired to be fired.... not saying he should be fired but it'll happen at some point.
  8. Don't tease me like that...
  9. Actually if you've paid attention I've been on the move on from collaros wagon too, and I've got plenty of criticism for the coordinators and their game plan... you can lose for a variety of reasons you know, and one of the most significant reasons was the piss poor roster usage in the Grey Cup game along with a myriad of other issues. You don't think that the inconsistencies that are showing up in this team ate age related? It's not like guys just all of a sudden fall off a cliff. It's a process that takes a while for them to be totally gone and it's happening right before our eyes whether you want to admit it or not. Kyle walters based on his comments seems to see it thankfully.
  10. And that's the thing, absolutely no one has ever been trying to run oshea out of town. Just wanting the team to not play the game on hard mode when they don't have to.
  11. Sometimes it's not sucking wind, sometimes it's half a step behind the play.
  12. Bc who didn't try and run the ball? Bc who we used a **** ton of linebackers moving around and rotating around rather than standard defensive linemen? Not sure exactly what your point is... except to maybe suggest that this team can't go back to back weeks anymore at a high level without a bye in there... You seem ok being a good regular season team. You seem ok with the team aging and losing something year after year. These issues have been showing up and affecting the level of play. To stick your head in the sand and ignore them is just quite something. If you aren't getting better you're getting worse.
  13. Ummm everyone... guys, especially guys on the older side of things wear down as a game goes on. You rotate and keep guys fresh you can keep your level high where as the offensive line isn't rotating players and will be the ones with less in the tank by the end. Are you being deliberately obtuse here or what? Cause some of the things you are saying are pants on head ********.
  14. Here is what you are failing to consider.... one of the things that this team used to do every single time was grind it out and wear other teams down over the course of a game and pull away in the end. The reason they were able to do that was primarily because they rotated like 8 quality guys throughout the defensive line and were always able to control that aspect. Last 2 grey cups we've seen the defense let them down late in the game and a big part of that is not having the quality bodies to keep rotating. That's roster management and it arguably cost them multiple games this season. Grey cup 100%, probably the loss to Ottawa as well. Cfl rosters are small enough as is, you can't be wasting spots on guys who don't contribute anything.
  15. Except now no one gets their name on the cup... so no I can't understand it.
  16. One injury forced 3 changes in the secondary and you don't think that is a factor in blown coverage? When you ate trying to win a championship you need better than "wasn't a liability"
  17. I just want someone in the teams management to force Mike oshea to justify dressing players on the game day roster who stand on the sidelines with their thumb up their ass all game. Rosters are small enough, why dress a guy who can't take any snaps?
  18. Didn't need hindsight to see it... he'll I said right after he got hurt I was more worried about Bighill playing hurt than not playing... I'm not some spectacular football scout, but it is obvious that even fully healthy Bighill is basically at the end of his usefulness as a star middle linebacker, when hurt the guy is not gonna even be close to that. The receivers I think you can dress one gimpy guy but not as many as they did.
  19. The whole point is the mos built the roster so as to have no depth on it during game day. It cost us the Grey Cup this year full stop. We won in 2019 and 2021 because of functional depth on the game day roster. You think it's coincidence that as soon as they lost the depth on the DL they didn't win the Grey Cup anymore?
  20. But the fact they put him in for the Grey Cup says to me they value him...
  21. I truly believe that Pierce was a big part of the collaros resurgence. Not sure who to trust as an OC now. Guess we trust these guys to make the right call.
  22. I don't want to have to hate those guys but I will...
  23. That is where the gm comes in and forces the issue and makes the hard choices. "Sorry Osh, didn't have the budget to keep these guys"
