  1. He suffers from smartest guy in the room syndrome for sure. Pretty good on the call but takes his own opinions entirely too seriously.
  2. Yup the basis of the team is built, just a matter of replenishing through drafting and recruitment which thankfully has been a strength for this group.
  3. Darkside leaving a trail of broken qbs behind them.
  4. No they won't, they'll call it a swan song and next year all about the lions and als and argos and new and improved riders!
  5. The league prefers that winnipeg is a doormat. Fans still support the team and other places get to have the sun shine on them. It really chaps their asses that winnipeg is as dominant as they are.
  6. I don't agree. It was changes like Alexander to safety and nick Taylor coming in that really solidified the secondary which allowed the defense to become one that could carry a team through anything.
  7. Yeah 2019 was a team that just never got over the hump before but some key changes gave them the pieces to have a dominant defense and the rest is history.
  8. 2000 yards from scrimmage is pretty ******* outstanding. It doesn't happen that often and none of the qbs were all that. Just dumb to overlook that for the flavour of the week (Kelly and betts)
  9. @DTonOB proving that he'd rather watch stats than actual games. Spectacularly wrong on 3 counts all at once.
  10. Whitehead too injured IMO.
  11. A bomber blow out would not be boring. That last grey cup game in Hamilton took years off my life.
  12. That's the league MOP you're talking about! Media will sweep this under the rug for the good of the argos and therefore the league.
  13. Being listed as the starter is pretty irrelevant anyway, there will be tons of rotation. Clements and Cole will take tons of reps.
  14. I am more worried that Bighill plays hurt than he doesn't play.
  15. I remember the defense not being able to get off the field too. Also, I blame lapo for the offense. It's completely his MO to do nothing until it's too late.
  16. He got the job done, it was the D failed to get the job done in the playoffs. The excuse train is rolling.
  17. **** off with that noise, Matt Nichols was many times the qb fajardo is. The fact that you compare Nichols with a shoulder injury that ultimately ended his career to fajardo says it all really.
  18. That is offensive to actual game managers like Matt Nichols and Kevin Glenn. Montreal is quarterbacked by a 3rd stringer cosplaying as a starting quarterback. All those sacks fajardo takes aren't on the offensive line.
  19. Oakman, mcmanis and Pickett... what's that gonna cost you?
  20. Just don't give the game away. There is not nearly enough talk about the Bombers D, especially against the fajtastic voyage (stealing it because it amuses me). I get people are stoked about the Montreal D and what they did to Toronto, but man the Bombers have a storied history of making Cody Fajardo cry like a little *****.
  21. Except the Bombers 2011 offense was better than a fajtastic offense.
  22. Really that's what really separates Kelly and collaros. Collaros tosses a few ints and he just keeps playing. Same really as our last game vs. Montreal. Kelly meanwhile gets overwhelmed and essentially gives up and pouts. Argos could have easily won that game if Kelly wasn't a total suck.
  23. ******* 2001... ******* 2007... ******* 2011... ******* 2022... The wife asked a couple weeks ago "are you going to olds to watch if the Bombers are in the Grey Cup?" I says **** no, they lost last year.
  24. Ritchie Hall can be maddening at times with the bend but don't break stuff but my God when he's got the bodies to execute the man can get some great performances out of a defense. His ability to adapt in game is such a strength.
