  1. The way that OT played off I wouldn't be boasting about anything if I was either team. Ottawa ****** up more than the Riders did in OT that's the bottom line.
  2. The big issue with the up the middle handoff before their field goal wasn't even playing conservative, it was playing THAT conservative. You can call a safe play and still give yourself a chance at the first down. Not even trying to get better position to punt at the very end was inexcusable though. Maher was kicking the ball far, gotta give him a chance to hit the endzone. Get another 9 yards and he's got a shot.
  3. No team is better at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory than Ottawa.
  4. No, it's unreasonable to excuse stupidity. Oh so you're just being obtuse now with your insistence that only what you would call is the right call? You make a stop while up by 8 you win, you don't allow the 2 point convert you win, but they lost one of the few dbs that has been a bright spot and the shuffling happened in the secondary and suddenly it's a couple big plays, why act surprised? Play not to lose all you want. Still a crap call. But hey, if you like it, that's all that matters eh? so you're not reading either? What I said was it was a passive call but I understood the logic. Where did I say whether I liked it or not? All I said was I understood the logic. And I disagree it was a 'logical' call. It was the cowards call and leads to exactly what we're seeing now. I didn't say it was a logical call either, I said I understood what he was going for. Why are you even defending it then? WTF is the matter with you? I never did, you came at me and I stand up for myself, the question is, why are you making a big deal of it? And you wonder why I treat some of you like idiots.
  5. That OT was like ******* humping a football

  7. Hank has looked like a rookie in OT. no turnovers and no sacks, that's your #1 job as a qb in OT.
  8. probably the way they've called the reswt of the game

  11. Hey look! there he is again! riders must have made a play and stopped sucking worse than Ottawa for a moment.
  12. you saying it's unreasonable to think that an expansion team has depth issues?
  13. That draw call was even worse. Maher was kicking the crap out of the ball, give him a chance for the single at least.
  14. all those injuries in the secondary likely played a role on that last drive
  15. it's really passive but I can see some logic to it. I think you gotta do more than a hand off up the middle though.
  16. That's exactly it, between him and Owens it's perfect for Ray. He loves his quick throws that receivers can turn into big gains. He had a lot of success with another guy of that type in Terry Vaughn.
  17. but he was a run of the mill FB, but he was an adopted local so the mob hyped him up to be more than he wasI think you are letting your hate of the riders colour your opinion.. He was durable, hard to stop, soft hands and very effective... Agree to disagree i suppose..How was that different from any number of fullbacks? At the time the position was different, there were lots of guys of that type around.Pretty sure if you matches szarkas stat lines with all other FB during his career, hes near the top of the pack.. Unfortunately,.you cant measure his blocking or protection without watching a pile of rider videos and aint nobody got time fer dat.. He had some longevity, but the only reason he's still talked about is because he was a popular Rider and they love to over inflate the value of those types. Did you know Rider fans used to try and say he was just as good as Mike Sellers?

  19. Hah Sunseri basically freezes when there's pressure coming.
  20. The best part of this game is that he's been pretty inaccurate, lot of missed throws, but he's still taking it to the Riders D.
  21. oh look, signs of life. what? couldn't show up until the riders fluke out a play?
  22. but he was a run of the mill FB, but he was an adopted local so the mob hyped him up to be more than he was
  23. isn't it ridiculous that his biggest career achievement is being run all over by the Bombers? Ridiculous and they put Szarka in their plaza of honour... why? Because he was the fullback when the bandwagon started to fill up? Low low standards for that team I tell you what.
  24. We should honour Chris Szarka over here as well
  25. If Ottawa hangs on and wins then yeah the Bombers win the week without playing.
