  1. That is a whole different debate, but there are enough that still support him. It's not a few troubled people anymore. Americans are ultimately responsible for their leader.
  2. Why? Guy is pretty widely supported so that tells me there are enough people who endorse that attitude. Like it or not the people we elect to represent ourselves and our countries reflect on us.
  3. Young QBs always run. Part of experience and the game still being fast for them. I think streveler is getting a bit under rated as a passer here. He's ok at that aspect and his running skills make him such a multifaceted threat. You tailor and offense to him I would be really curious to see what he can do.
  4. Lions COULD win, but it's unlikely. BC hasn't shown they can stop the pressure and Edmonton has shown to be good at bringing pressure.
  5. I would also think that the bowling lane they play on in the states has something to do with it. Makes a much more straight ahead game without as much worry about someone getting outside and having all kinds of room to run.
  6. you just listed all the places I played hockey... Peguis always cheated.
  7. The other team wants to take liberties sometimes you gotta remind em that you play stupid games you win stupid prizes. This team isn't a bunch of doormats and I am OK with the occasional penalty to let the other team know they ain't gonna take **** from them.
  8. Good teams don't care who they play they just focus on the task at hand.
  9. Was that the UR penalty? Cause if so I am OK with the occasional penalty to set the tone.
  10. It's the old adage about a chain only being as strong as it's weakest link. It takes more than 1 player to have a good offensive line. All those guys have to work together.
  11. Andrew Harris.
  12. YOU STOLE MY JOKE!!!!!
  13. Matt Dunigan is a fantastic commentator because the only thing he is biased for is a good game. Guy is just excited to watch football and it shows.
  14. as bad as fajardos stat line actually was, it probably should have been even worse!! guy was making terrible dangerous throws all night long. There is no way he played "OK" that the rest of the team played to his level doesn't absolve him of his shittiness. bottom line Riders are who we thought they were. A poor team that massively overachieved last season.
  15. At what point does BC realise the huge mistake they made pinning all their hopes on one player?
  16. I think Edmonton is a better team right now than Calgary. That being said Maas is a liability.
  17. fajardo is trash, could have at least 3 ints so far and I haven't even watched the whole game.
  18. yeah it was clearly a push off, I yelled at the TV about it when it happened. Only way it wasn't a push off is if the CFL and the refs want to let it go as they traditionally do. As for Dunigan talking about it, well he always sides with the offense on those things.
  19. You know who else knows that that is exactly what will happen? The defense. So of course they key in on stopping he run. Which is why it was stupid of lapo to keep handing off on first down all the time.
  20. So go ahead, logically explain why it's not a stupid point. All you are doing is appealing to emotions and defending hurt feelings. So bring on the logic.
  21. Just having an opinion does not make it valid, and if people don't want to be told they are saying stupid **** then they should just stop saying stupid ****. If someone comes in and starts acting like the D is giving up too many points, well are we just supposed to pretend that's a valid point? Cause it sure as hell isn't. Not sure why people get so butthurt when they are corrected, they should be grateful that I took the time to help them better themselves.
  22. you can only be judged on what you type, and you typed a completely stupid point and were rightly called on it. Most people would just slink away with their tail between their legs and people would forget all about it, but no, you doubled down on it. Not sure why you think you can talk your way out of the stupid thing you said. Again, it shows a profound misunderstanding of what this defense tries to do. The fact that they aren't letting teams into the endzone means they are doing their jobs very well whether you think the dbs can't cover or not. I mean cripes, Fenner who has been roasted here showed some great coverage last night when he avoided penalties, but you probably still were calling him trash right? Fact is this defense lets people catch the ball and makes the stop. It's bend don't break and if you want something different you won't get it from this team. our DBs are good, out entire defense is good, so what's with the complaining? They're not giving 0 yards and 0 points? How about adjust your expectations?
