Sadly too many light weights went and killed themselves after drinking cheap beer in Canada and now we got minimum prices for booze. -
Oh this should go over well....

Rivalries, Late Starts, & Game Days - Attendance

Well that and the fact that nobody watches local news or reads newspapers anymore. It's all about the online presence. Bottom line it's become easy to watch a high quality TV feed for games these days so people view the stadium as the 2nd rate option. -

Potential scoring plays get reviewed too, the replay showed he trapped the ball on the ground when he landed so no td. -
When you look at td to ints Nichols is killing it.

Oh no, we can talk about weaknesses, but they have to be grounded in reality, but that wasn't really what the comment was about. It was about being more critical of the bombers and over looking the issues on other teams. It's a thing that a lot of people do around these parts. You wanna know what I see as the weaknesses on this Bomber team? Right at the moment it's an offensive coordinator who gets in his own way sometimes and a defensive coordinator who doesn't disguise blitzes well and leaves a lot of space for completions.

No, I said Reilly was maybe the best qb in the league, and a guy that has been very capable of putting a team on his back and dragging them to wins throughout his career... and yet here he is on a team that sucks not doing jack ****. So don't go on about needing a qb to drag a team to wins, it doesn't work like that. Good teams win. Good TEAMS. A QB is only one part of it, and clearly what Nichols is doing works pretty well considering how often the Bombers win with him.

Why do you continuously ignore how pathetic the defense was his first 2 playoff seasons here? Why do you think it's Grey Cup or bust? Your attitude is what led us into the depths of the crap we saw. Always the mentality that you gotta win it all or blow it up. No chance to build stability, which is ultimately what wins multiple Grey Cup championships.

No you are wrong. There are very few people that pump Nichols up as being one of the elite qbs in the game. The arguments come from people like you falsely arguing that Nichols didn't play well based on whatever subjective statistics you come up with and praise other quarterbacks because of whatever statistics you come up with when they didn't play that well either. See the problem for people like you, is that you have no consistency. You view the Bombers with a hyper critical eye which you don't turn on other teams as well. You are much more lax in your judgement of other teams than the Bombers. Which is why you always find yourself in these arguments.

The way he's played his whole time here should give us confidence that he can come from behind to win. His first 2 playoffs here plain and simple the defense couldn't stop jack **** and we lost because of that. Last year Lapo handcuffed the offense in the west final and expected the D to win the game. Bottom line.

Age often hits defensive backs hard and fast.

I wouldn't put that as a plus in the Argos favour. They were so disinterested and unprepared to play that the score was 31-0 before they even showed up. Bombers took the foot off the gas massively and Toronto scored some points in garbage time (which lasted longer than non garbage time) that doesn't mean Toronto wasn't still an embarrassment.

Just like he did here, his big problem here was hiring loser head coaches.
