  1. rest assured if we win time will be spent rightly dumping on the Riders.
  2. Lapo loves his rb/reciver hybrid types who can take short passes and turn them into bigger gains. That's why he loves Demski. Peterman probably better receiver though.
  3. They arrogantly thought that simply having hockey would be a license to print money, they forgot that people don't want to watch a shitty hockey broadcast.
  4. Well at least they got him on a cheap contract.....
  5. Dibs on smart ass remarks.
  6. Not to mention that in addition to being hard to run against, generally the Bombers are playing with a lead which leads to opponents passing more. No my friends this is simply rider fan ignorance of the league on full display.
  7. It was fantastic when the announcers were all on strike and we got silent games.
  8. it was just terrible, there was one on bighill especially that I have no idea how it wasn't called.
  9. you are forgetting one important thing: Feels matter more than facts.
  10. on the other hand a guy becoming one of the highest paid players in the league outside of quarterbacks opens ones self up to increased criticism, especially when the part of the team he plays on it complete trash.
  11. In before Lapo gives Peterman all of Demski's plays.
  12. Then I've got some oceanfront property to sell you. The only reason for that play to happen is malicious intent. Did the rider intend to injure temple and put him on the ir? Probably not but it wasn't done for funsies either. It was a play where the intention was to plant the long snapper on his ass. I mean really if Remple had kept his head down for a moment it would have been a penalty by the books, so what has really changed? It was a hit against the spirit of the rule. Just that apparently the CFL sucks at wording their new rules.
  13. That is the most CFL thing ever.... oh it's ok in this instance but let's quickly change the rules after the fact. Pretty God damned sick and tired of this reactionary bullshit. Either that's ok or it's not, don't change thing after we lose our long snapper. If it's notnokngoing forward they should have fined the rider douchebag who did it just to make it seem legit.
  14. first time watching Ritchie Hall call a D? either blitz or drop way back, that happens all the time with him. He gives up the short underneath passes by design.
  15. OK but let's be realistic here, in a league where Vernon Adams and Cody Fajardo and Dane Evans and now Chris Streveler are starting quarterbacks who in gods name is available for trade that's worth trading for?
  16. I'd say it was better than pretty good, but yeah, gotta seal the deal when the time comes.
  17. so his protest is to be a worse coordinator and make his chances of getting a chance to be a head coach even less? I sure hope you were just making a joke.
  18. well he's employed 2 defensive coordinators in his time here who both like the bend don't break D. I would guess that's why he is OK with it. You can justify it as "well they didn't make the plays to get the stop" but that's just a cop out.
  19. could have, but at the very end it came down to a defensive stop that didn't happen because Ritchie Hall has this prevent D that he's had for ever and the same **** happens.
  20. Defence gave up the long drive at the end of both games, yeah the offense didn't help, but they could have got a stop and won the game, they didn't
  21. it wasn't a dreadful game against the Argos, it was a dreadful half a game. Don't forget that they did jump out to a big lead in the first half. It was just the passive coaching that cost them. Ritchie Hall and his prevent defense are responsible for 2 losses this year. Sask and Toronto. gave up big long time killing drives in the final moments to lose a lead.
  22. League says the hit was A-OK.
  23. Hot take, I kind of hope Demski is unavailable for the Banjo Bowl. Lapo I think relies too much on him when really he is a guy that is probably suited to be the under the radar threat.
  24. It's only a different kind of potential... The entire point here is that the limiting factor isn't the quarterback, it's the offense itself.
