Peterman is stuck behind some really good Canadian receivers. He could be a damned good one, but so can Demski and Wolitarsky.
-
People make overly much of these supposed skill gaps between generations.
-
Specifically saying something along the lines of "people don't really know how good this guy is"
-
Well old trumpy doesn't care about laws
-
He is certainly trying, but he overestimates what the military would be willing to do for him. Can't overthrow the rule of law without the force to back it up.
-
Mitchell and reilly would be starters in any era. Collaros pre head trauma was really good too, but those days are gone.
-
Yeah no one stages a coup without military support and cadet bonespurs is hated by the military.
-
They can't speak out because if you cross the fundies they will turf you. Sad state of affairs really.

The man thought Stefan Lefors was a starter. Why listen to him?

People didn't turn out en masse to support Biden, they did it to oust the mob boss in the big chair. They don't do something to make sure Republicans know this is unacceptable and voters will just stay home going forward because nothing matters.
-
If Biden let's these crooks off the hook all that will happen is Republicans will sweep the midterms and next presidential election.

The far right is in total control of that party no question about it. Can't vote for them in good conscience, but trudeau is a weenie and the ndp are too far the other way. What's a guy to do?

Barr doesn't care about his reputation, he was using Trump for his own goals of a Supreme executive leader. Now that Trump lost barr has no use for him.

Government is not a business. We have already tried cutting taxes and as I said, it's been proven to not work for the betterment of society as a whole. So let's try taxing people and putting in some regulations saying they have to treat their employees well. A strong economy is not created from the top down, it is created from the bottom up.

He won't be forgotten sadly, but he will be remembered in a terrible light so there is that.

They pay 80% of the taxes while controlling 95% of the wealth... you trying to prove my point for me? Look at the golden age everyone pines for... what was the tax rate on wealthy people then? Hell as an Alberta example the ndp raised corporate tax rates and were blasted for it... yet rates were higher under klein. We've tried this cutting taxes on corporations and the wealthy for decades and it has only shrunk the middle class and expanded the wealth gap. It is a failed experiment.
-
But if we do want to go back to the glory days the first step will be the one thing conservatives are conditioned to hate... taxing the wealthy at a higher level. And not even go back to taxing these guys like they were post war, it will also require governments to legislate worker protections. Again anti-consetvative stances. Basically everything from the 80s onwards was an experiment in seeing if corporations will do the right thing without being forced to. Turns out that no, no they won't. Time to end that failed experiment and get back to governments looking after the bulk of the population rather than the wealthiest.

How? The world has moved beyond that. Trying to fight to bring back a bygone age is a losing proposition. Need to adapt to the new world and not try and go back in time.

There was a mic during the game caught him whining about being targeted 3 times ina row and how he was tired. Aka coach they are playing too hard. That was the thing I love most about that team. They all played a hard tough style.

Well they don't have to say what they're doing, but a simple statement of "we have some ideas if things are still in a dicey situation" Given how spectacularly they dropped the ball in 2020 you can see why it seems like there is no faith.
-
But that was my entire point... come up with some ideas for multiple scenarios instead of just shrugging their shoulders and saying "well we hope things get back to normal" It may not work out, but for God's sake put some effort in. Come up with out of the box solutions.

The bottom line is that ambrosie has been a pretty poor commissioner and the lack of plans surrounding this are a sign of poor management. Yes this pandemic has made everything difficult, but the organizations that handle it well have multiple plans for multiple situations. The cfl barely had a plan for one certain scenario.

I am sure the war room will get right on that.

That's just it. They are ok with the shitty policy, but don't like the guy saying it out loud.
