  1. And scored a TD. Plus set up 2 offensive TDs on short fields after a 2 and out deep in Rider end and the forced fumble by Hecht. It’s almost unbelievable they could lose that game with how the D played.
  2. And yet they didn't give up a TD that entire game and gave the offense two drives in the final two minutes. Your expectations might be a bit out of whack or maybe you're so biased against Hall you can't give a fair evaluation.
  3. Demski catches 70% of his targets. Wolitarsky catches 70% of his targets. Thompkins catches 70% of his targets. Petermann catches 61% of his targets. Dressler catches 60% of his targets. Adams catches 50% of his targets (most targets 81, and only Bomber receiver averaging over 15 yards per attempted pass). Bowman caught 50% of his targets as a Bomber this season. Washington catches 40% of his targets. Facts.
  4. Who do you think pays coordinators more? I mean Sask has a staff of 20 of Jones' Tennessee buddies and some CFL vets he worked with like McAdoo, but who is getting paid more?
  5. Pfft...get real, those guys have barely played or been targeted. When they have all they have done is make plays. Wolitarsky finally starts being targeted, last 4 games he's on 1000 yard pace. Corey Washington is in an import. Guy who has spent time with 7 NFL teams. What has he done in that time frame?
  6. He was an assistant for 4 seasons in Toronto under Barker and Milanovich. Special Teams, the coach who most closely works in game with the head coach to make in game decisions. O'Shea is not the kind of head coach who is going to take over the O or the D. He's an overseer. Wally Buono is the same way. He manages the team. He's not going to be like Chris Jones who coaches every play on D and has nothing to do with the rest of the team during the practice week and the game. We've had those coaches, Lapo is that kind of head coach who coached the offense and had nothing to do with the rest of the team. The only thing I blame O'Shea for is for trusting Lapo with the offense. They needed to integrate Streveler at least by the LDC given how Nichols was struggling. They let Nichols get to this point and Lapo flat out refuses to use Streveler at all. He indicated this in his media scrum this week. I'd have had the press release out this morning terminating Lapo. He has not developed an offense that utilizes the strengths of the players in it. We have under utilized a number of useful players and continued to go to the well with garbage players like Adams getting targeted repeatedly and not producing.
  7. If our offense is going to be a 17 point handicap every week it wouldn't matter if we could have a seance and have Buddy Ryan running our D. We won't beat anyone. And the D has actually been good on the whole this season with a few bad games. The O is a black hole.
  8. You better move to the States and start scouting then. Again, bullshit. The only part that has any credible thought is on Neufeld. We should have had more depth behind Hardrick and Foketi, but them getting hurt in consecutive weeks is pretty unusual. We've had a bunch of import returners and if you look around the league there aren't many guys lighting it up right now. Fogg is one of the top punt returners. It's not worth rostering someone to do kickoffs. I agree the import scouting has left a lot to be desired. But disagree with the bullshit assumption about imports vs Canadians. I don't believe that offense yesterday would have been better with 3 more average import players starting.
  9. You don't even make sense. 5-10 years to change personnel? Most of these players careers don't last more than 3-4 years, and very few play on the same team that long.
  10. Streveler looked alright considering he was running Nichols offense and Nichols is basically the complete opposite style of QB, along with Streveler's level of experience. Lapo also had about 5 playcalls yesterday, Harris/Flanders search run, Demski sweep, QB Draw, RB slip screen and a handful of pocket passing plays. Can't really judge Streveler until he actually gets to run an offense designed for his strengths.
  11. That's hogwash. To have one guy as good at both placekicking and punting is extremely rare. There are better punters, but they don't placekick. There are a couple placekickers in his realm but they don't punt. He's definitely worth one of four DI spots considering most teams are using 2 roster spots and more cap space on kickers, at least the teams with good kickers.
  12. So the offense would be better if Harris and Demski were replaced by imports, just because they are imports? That's a fact? Are you actually serious? The imports are the ones underperforming on offense.
  13. And the D was never that bad. The O has struggled forever to be consistent. Bombers have been best field position team for years and always one of the best turning the ball over defensively since 2016. O has had amazing games and games where they can’t get a first down. I’ve been sounding this alarm for at least a year. It’s blatantly obvious and shouldn’t take a bunch of games where the O scores more for the opposing team than ours to make significant changes.
  14. They didn’t run a single read option. You are talking about a quarterback draw. There was no other option. The play was just Streveler running, no back to hand it to, no pass option, no read to make other than for Streveler to try to find a gap to run to. They had zippo installed for Streveler, nothing. The only difference between the calls for him and Nichols was they called QB Draw twice in that half he played. It was a disgraceful display of coaching by Lapolice. How can they go into that game knowing where Nichols is at and not give reps to Streveler and have a game plan ready for Streveler as well? To me that’s fireable amount of negligence for an OC.
  15. Lapo should watch a lot of Mike Reilly film if he needs a blueprint for building a gameplan for Streveler. They get him on the move all the time and challenge the defense to hold contain and cover 3-4 guys in the route that are accessible to Reilly.
  16. 8 NI's. 7 on O, 1 on D. But doesn't really matter just means there's an import on O who can sub in for anyone, really 6 on O, 1 on D.
  17. He also has a coaching and support staff that doesn't fit on a Canadian sized football field....until next season. They don't look that good. Bombers blow out both games with even average QBing. You'd expect to lose by 20-30 handing the other team 3 scores a game.
  18. You'd just have to start Petermann in addition to Wolitarsky and Demski to be able to go all import on D. I mean they could have done it anyway today with 4 NI OL starting. But once they go back to 3 NI OL, start the three receivers, you have Simonise to backup along with Lafrance, probably call back Tylor Henry and dress him instead of the 7th OL dressed today.
  19. Ya when two import receivers went out. The backups are Canadians, we didn't have a DI receiver. I don't for the life of me understand what they love about Loffler so much. You'd think you'd want any of the guys on your defensive depth chart to make some plays on the ball carrier and the ball. He's barely made any in 12 games. We also only dressed 6 DL, one of them being here only 2 weeks. That's a disaster. Need at least 7. Not sure why we don't have more options on our practice roster in terms of imports on both lines.
