I don't know why our boundary corner is dropping to the 1 yard line when the route in front of him is a 8 yard curl from the 21 yard line. At what point do we get aggressive? We're just giving away TD's.

It's no yards if the ball crosses the line of scrimmage because Cadwallader wasn't onside so he still has to give yards, and he fell on the ball. But if the ball doesn't cross the line of scrimmage it's a blocked punt, not a "deflected" punt so there should be no penalty. Of course we didn't get to see a replay to see if the call was right or not.

Yeah he needs to just run by that first wave of three guys then make the cut on the next wave. He starts running sideways trying to beat the first wave with speed and he's going nowhere.

Worse that than Calgary is just sitting on all intermediate routes. If we don't go vertical ever we're just suffocating ourselves.

On the last 1st and 10 Calgary had a bunch of guys in the box because we had 3 guys in the backfield. Then we split everyone wide and they just settled into 3 under so they have someone under and over every possible intermediate route because they don't have to dedicate ANYONE to a potential run play. Our QB never runs either so that empty set is particularly useless.

Can't run empty this much with this OL. Condell is literally the worst playcaller in this league.

3 under, 3 under. We run nothing vertical, we have no run threat in the backfield and our OL can't block a 4 man rush. They are running the same coverage every play because we aren't challenging them at all.

Put guys on the field that are willing to make a play on the ball. Moxey is running away from the ball every single play. He's playing the wide side of the field. He has the most time to recover from being aggressive. Put someone out there who at least has the idea of making a play in their mind.

Nichols and Moxey masterclass. One route on that side of field. Calgary in max protect. Moxey has backpedalled 20 yards and not adjust to the post at all. Nichols is deep middle, steps up late, doesn't wrap. Moxey is so far away from the ball he can't even get close to catching Philpot even after he absorbs the hit from Nichols. These guys don't want to play pro football anymore. Send them home.
