  1. I hope that if he gets into a peep of trouble, the Ticats and/or the CFL ship his ass home. Dude's got some bad stuff on his rap sheet.
  2. Speaking of Apodaca: http://boston.cbslocal.com/2018/05/18/patriots-quarterback-austin-apodaca-workout-brady-hoyer-etling-cfl/ (I get the weirdest alerts from Google about the CFL.)
  3. ...until he was old enough for the Rum Hut.
  4. More chaos in Montreal: http://montrealgazette.com/sports/football/cfl/montreal-alouettes/kahlil-carters-brief-tenure-with-alouettes-marred-by-conflicts Real interesting stuff in there about Carter vs. Tommy Campbell.
  5. Welcome Bud! All the best to you and Alex!
  6. Yeah, I noticed that. Not a bad pick for handshake line music for any outcome, I think you could hear it as sad or triumphant. Jets win -- you won and we're sad but good series and good luck. Pred win -- we won and we're triumphant but here is a musical salute to our enemy aviators while we all shake hands. I thought it was pretty classy but I think about these things too much, probably wasn't even that intentional.
  7. Damn, I love how our guys skate out to For Whom The Bell Tolls. bad ass. Only thing better would be Creeping Death or Seek and Destroy. Aces High would be amazing and on-point, but maybe it's too fast a song.
  8. All this talk about him wanting a one-year contract so he can make a quick splash and bounce back to the NFL unencumbered doesn't show a lot of respect for the league, so he'll be easy to root against.
  9. Gale, ok. Lindley, hell no. He looked awful against us last year and everyone passed up a storm against us last year.
  10. I think the issue here is that you could get a pretty nasty crowd control problem on your hands turning away people like that. Cops are probably anxious about riots.
  11. Very very nearly Visa'd up a flight / overnight hotel / ticket for Game 4, but in the end gave it a pass. Given how bad the Bombers play when I'm in the building, I'm gonna do my part and stay the hell away .. this was basically paying four figures to hurt the Jets' chances.
  12. Hmm, flights to Las Vegas from Seattle are ridiculously cheap...
  13. we got a gift non-call after Myers tackled that dude tho.
  14. while a Jets cruise-control victory in four would've been better, this Game 7 high drama thing isn't a bad consolation prize. Go Jets!

  16. Man, this series is so weird. Didn't like what I saw last night, but last time the Preds red-rovered them, the Jets answered smartly the next game. Bring on Game 7, and go Jets!
  17. Sea of Pee. You're killing it, TB4e.
  18. Buckley's going to med school, per the article. Doesn't sound like sneaky roster management. Congrats to Buckley on his med school admission and all the best to him in his next act. Winning a couple Hec Creightons while doing pre-med in university, that's a pretty serious accomplishment, deserves respect.
  19. Nice to see Rinne stepping off ... he can't hack any Jets in half from the dressing room...
  20. Won't be surprised at any outcome, these teams are so evenly matched. Hope it's more firewagon hockey like we had in Games 2-3 and not the Red Rover trapfest we saw in Game 4.
