I haven't been this excited to watch a back-up play Toronto at home since the debut of Mike Quinn!

I remember being there one night all excited that I had got in to Scandals at 17 years old, then looking around when I got inside and seeing a bunch of 13 year old girls from my home town.

All right, I take it back. Scandals was awesome.

David Bovell - there's a name from the past. If you watch the 1990 Grey Cup game, Don Wittman talks about Bovell a lot, and how he's going to be a future star in the CFL. And then he only played a few more years and left the CFL. Not sure what happened there, he had a great game in that Grey Cup.

hahaha...hey hey hey....I actually was a quarterback in highschool so I can sling it! I always have to laugh thinking back one night when a bunch of us were drinking at Scandals, and for whatever reason I had my alma mater high school leather football jacket on, which said Q.Back on the sleeve. Quincy Williams looks at it and says "wtf you were a QB in highschool?!?!..damn would have hated to see the size of the rest of your team!" ahhh memories Ha ha Scandals. What a dive. Good times, good times.

yeah here's hoping that the Bombers cover the spread. I am a Marve fanbois for sure, and I am happy to see him finally get his shot. I just hope that all of those here who have been praying for him to fail and fall on his face aren't rewarded, and also that we don't give up on him too quickly, in favour of the next flavor of the month back-up. I also don't want to see Marve pulled too early if he struggles, just to watch cement shoes tank and the entire team fall apart.

I think the Bombers have a better chance of signing this Big Ben then Heenan:

Marve has had two training camps now and a year and a half to prepare. If he doesn't know the playbook by now then he shouldn't be a professional player. It's one thing if we just got him off the bus from Fresno, but he's been here long enough to learn the subtle nuances of an MB "let's kill the QB" offense.

That's going to hurt the NDP for sure. It was only a matter of time. Mulcair can fool some of the people all of the time, but he can't fool all of the people all of the time. There are too many leftist nutbars in the NDP who are out of touch with reality. They will keep tanking the NDP with these kinds of slips, just as the BC NDP got too arrogant during the provincial campaign here in BC in 2013 and started showing their true colors,causing them to get killed on election day.
