any of the old-timers here remember that year where there was some sort of ice storm the night before the game and they had to steam off the ice at the old Winnipeg stadium and they played the game on a much smaller field? I still remember the 1980 WSF playoffs against Calgary where they had to clear a ton of snow off the field before game time.
That moment of silence was beautiful and one of the reasons that I love this country. Imagine trying to pull off a moment of silence like that in the middle of an NFL game? It would never happen. Way too many drunken disrespectful idiots. Kudos to the Hamilton fans for being able to shut it down like that and show such amazing respect to our vets.
just to blow your mind, November 1990 or 28 years ago (the last time we won the Cup) this was the number one song on the charts:
Ice ice baby - to the 2018 Grey Cup!!!!! Word to your mother...
Dinwiddie didn't show his beautiful wolf eye peepers around Winnipeg until 2006. Tee Martin and Kevin Glenn were our QB's in 2005. And Rod Rust was our D-coach, for part of the year anyway...
LOL yeah, and that's not really a fair assessment, especially when you look back at some of the awful presidents that have existed in American history.
