For me it's not about giving him a pass on "one play", that was an entire penalty kill where the Jets would have been better off putting out a traffic cone at the top of square. Lowry just kept backing up and not challenging whatsoever, and then wouldn't even get into the shooting lane, allowing the tying goal, and also almost getting Helle killed with that shot he took off the head. I just hope Adam watches the film and his dad points out that he has to do better out there. I get it, players have bad games. I just hope the P/K gets better.

Not sure what Adam Lowry was doing on that last penalty kill but it was basically a 6 on 3. You don't just let Petterson tee it up from there. And at least attempt to take away the pass between him and Hughes instead of just standing there. Lowry had a pretty bad night from what I saw.

They do not look well coached.

Would Edmonton have done that trade? Poolparty looks good for sure right now, but so would my mother-in-law playing on a line with McDavid.

Report: Blue Jackets' Patrik Laine benched because he ‘verbally disrespected’ a coach (msn.com) It's pretty clear that he was coddled in Winnipeg, Wheeler said as much. Now that he is being treated like a man and expected to play like a man and act like a man, instead of a coddled little boy, he's showing his true colors. Why are guys with so much talent almost always the guys who waste it thanks to a crappy attitude? So frustrating to watch.

Blake Wheeler made PLD's last shift in Columbus look herculean in comparison to the effort he put in last night, almost all night. That first goal by Boeser he was just cruising back leaving Boeser alone in front. It was like watching beer league. It was embarrassing.

I don't know what planet Wheeler and Scheifele are on this year but it's not earth.

I was fantasizing about Dubois being out there last night with Schief's line being essentially neutralized, and how a line of him, Copp and Ehlers would have just owned the Oilers second line all night, it would have been a much different game for sure. If they can get Dubois back sooner (and safely of course) then I am all for it.

Per the interview I watched he seemed to indicate that he was under the 14 day restriction, and so he arrived Saturday night in Winnipeg. From there I guess we do the math. Feb 7th he would be able to practice with the team.

Someone bust Dubois out of quarantine and get him out there. Sure could have used him tonight! Jets were definitely looking gassed.
