I remember Chase being out there with his dad when he was being honored by the Bombers. I always kept the hope that one day he'd be a football player, and play for Winnipeg like his dad. I know football didn't end up being his choice for sports, but I knew whatever he did he'd make his dad proud. This is one of those "life just isn't fair" moments. Too many of those lately unfortunately.
