  1. I could be wrong, I can’t find a current source but I swear I heard a story of Osh taking a couple days to take/ visit his boy to/at school in the fall.
  2. I believe any ties to the West beyond Winnipeg have been removed. I believe his sone is now at Guelph edit: bad link
  3. Can Harris accept MOC And MOP without swearing on live TV tonight? (Kudos to TSN for not bleeping it out on replays 2 years later) GO BLUE!!!
  4. Not that this is applicable to this conversation but have you read Bug Grant’ autobiography “I did it my way”? One of the best sports biographies I’ve read.
  5. My voice was shot by half time. The weight on my cowbell flew off the chain so I had to do something to make up for it.
  6. Just checked the weather one last time. Radar shows some clearing prior to game time and clear through the end. Will be best if they can keep the field clear and our dominance can be fully exerted.
  7. They are the best for game day atmosphere or watching the game but are a good time overall. I never use it during the season as I like to go with my fam for the football. Playoffs and Grey Cup I’ll do it.
  8. First time all year will be meeting some friends to tailgate pregame. LFG!!! (somewhat embarrassed to admit we’ve abandoned our sect 125 seats for the company suite. The offer was made to me weeks ago and not weather related so only feel a little guilty. Three boys under 10 are going to have an experience of a lifetime today. )
  9. It’s been in the news and a requirement for at least 6 months. I have no sympathy for them.
  10. Probably the back ups on the practice roster…
  11. He’s displaying some decent vertical for a man his size if he has a hip issue…
  12. He was running some sprints on the sidelines, must have gotten a little nicked and was trying to convince someone to let him back in. Sure would like to know Hardrick’s injury. With the effort he puts in to cheering on the sidelines I can’t fathom that he isn’t good to play.
  13. I’m certainly not going to complain.
  14. Going to be a great day for football. Winston Rose is out to show his skills. Bighill angry enough to hurt someone. The Jeff’s just going to be Jeff’s…
  15. Not to mention following recommendations put forth by consultants hired by the previous NDP government. I fully recognize that change is hard but the insistence of some to keep calling the health care changes “cuts” I just don’t understand. How can spending more but doing it differently ever be considered cuts? Only when you let the unions tell one side of the story and ignore the other. No publicly funded health care system can be staffed at capacity for a once in a lifetime pandemic. It’s only natural that resources needing to be redeployed for an emergency situation. While delays in surgeries is an incredible quality of life issue for some the saving of lives must take priority. It is not a MB only issue and isn’t just a PC issue. (disclaimer: I’m a political orphan that has previously support the MB PC’s. Unknown where I will park my next vote and struggling to find anyone to support)
  16. I don’t think the sit Collaros at home. Lots of paying fans want to see the best players on the field. Only weirdos like us want to know what the back ups can do. I’m also concerned that if our back ups struggle it puts an extra target on Collaros to knock him out of the game.
  17. I have been incredibly impressed with Collaros. Zach has made a believer out of me. There was a play in the 4th quarter that I can’t get out of my mind. He gets pressure and escapes the pocket rolling to his left, his eyes lock on the receiver near the sidelines, I don’t know who that was but I swear Zach was looking at me, that’s how focused his eyes were. Next thing I know Dempski has the ball in the slot for a first down. I’m like WTF, how did that happen. if that’s how I read the play from above when I can see the whole field it must be impossible for the defenders to have a clue.
  18. I must say I’ve never had that much fun at that stadium before. What a fun night.
  19. Watching the warm up and I am impressed with how many skill players are bare armed. Doug Brown must be proud.
  20. 6pm start on a weekend is hard on my psyche. Need to get this thing started already!!!
  21. Just check the LK’s schedule, last two week are on the road. I guess after week 14 he might as well look for a car to drive back home leaving a couple game cheques in the team’s bank account. More evidence of the “Me First” attitude that prevails in that team. So glad we have FIFO here.
  22. Fully vaccinated do not need to isolate, need a - test before entry is all.
  23. Except of course they would lose their license. Drs can’t chose not to help a patient. Even propagating the idea makes the problem worse. Yes, I’ve be the angry “sell them to North Dakota” type but I am based that. I’m not sure if I can do so far as to say I pity them but I am sad for them. Most of them just aren’t educated enough to be able to tell right from wrong. We as a society have failed them and are somewhat responsible for allowing them to become the way they are. Instead of scorn maybe we need to try the sympathy route for a change.
  24. Why bother? It wouldn't solve anything. Many living within the SHD commute to Winnipeg daily. You would also be "punishing" thousands that are vaccinated. Most of the SHD is vaccinated at or near provincial averages. You lock down Portage and the RM of MacDonald because of Winkler and Stanley? It sounds great but just isn't feasible. Best thing to try would be enhanced enforcement of the rules that are in place in areas that are not following them.
  25. Just for the record, Survivor started tonight and is more interesting than the football game.
