  1. Right. Point is, it's not a given that moving from ZC is the right move.
  2. Just one last thing: Back in 2009, they couldn't see themselves competing / contending...with Kevin Glenn...
  3. If he does or he doesn't, I can understand why the powers that be are not going to roll the dice. ZC is their safest bet.
  4. It appears fairly certain (baring injury) that Collaros will be playing in Winnipeg until his contract is up. Given this team's history at the QB position, I don't see how anyone can be firmly on side with letting him go. I mean, you've probably got an eye on the future, and that's fine. But it's pretty safe to say that the Bombers are focused on winning a GC at home, in 2025. ZC gives them the best chance to do that. He's had some bad games, some of which were unfortunately Grey Cups. But that's going to happen no matter who you have behind centre. I think we have the talent on the OL - to get back to kind of protection he was getting when he first came to Winnipeg. The brain thrust needs to start the players who can make that happen. If you're in the position of several other teams around the league, then you absolutely go with a guy like Brown. In Winnipeg, you play the safe card and go with the experienced vet. Just my 'Boltus scarred' 0.02
  5. Yeah, #66 is not as shutdown as he used to be, but they certainly won't find anyone better to replace him If he wants to put his body through another season, it's a win win for the team
  6. They must have an Ambrosie clone down there.
  7. Arby's did have a wickedly good baked potato.
  8. Did some cleaning up in here. Be better. Any place has warts, if that's what you're looking for.
  9. I'm pretty sure you can claim a Canadian tax credit, if you paid foreign income tax. There might be more red tape for larger amounts, but it can be done. Lol, take it easy. I thought maybe I was missing something, so I asked.
  10. How do you arrive at "half'?
  11. It should be a fight in the playoffs, which hopefully won't work too much in favour of the Eastern Conference.
  12. Are y'all familiar with Spero's Pizza in Gimli? It's not cheap, but the pizzas are huge, delicious and are very generously topped. You can't eat more than 2 or 3 pieces.
  13. Converted to Canadian $, that's $400 000. Two thirds of Collaros' annual contract.
  14. Could have easily been 8-2. Especially that laser from Ehlers that hit the post. He has one of the best shots in the game, IMO.
  15. I recall that as well. He was actually quite effective throwing downfield, if you let him roll out and ad lib. But he could not execute the called / scripted plays.
  16. Which just proves that it's a team game Even with a healthy Trevor Harris, the Riders probably don't make the playoffs, much less win the GC.
  17. The primary point here is: You can win with a lesser talent at the QB position. From that POV, the Als didn't make a mistake signing Fajardo Sure, they could do better at that position - but mission accomplished for 2023
  18. Fajardo threw for almost 4000 yards this past season. Fair to say that both had a solid receiving crew to throw to. It's not the passing yards with them, it's more the decision making in critical situations.
  19. MBT? I don't think there's much to choose from - between the two.
  20. I can easily see why someone would give it up. There is very little consistency in what they are asked to call. And command centre can be downright inexplicable.
  21. Even then, some offenses will be able to deal with the pressure. I'd say you have to be able to go with a 3 or 4 man rush & trust your back end to cover.
  22. Is it just me - or does he not seem to have an answer when an opposing O can handle the pressure?
  23. And if the Bombers had ended up winning, he would have still played a decent game. The guy passed for almost 300 yards.
