  1. When you’re not making millions, those suits they have to wear also add up.
  2. The average wage in Canada is around $50 000. According to what some of you are saying, the average Canadian should be set for life in about 15 years - large unexpected bills included. Sorry, your math does not add up.
  3. What’s a ‘string women?’
  4. Step 1 would be to have medical insurance in place for American players.
  5. I have been waiting for your take on this - thanks. It probably boils down to it being a tough sport where it is hard to play all out, all the time. If you feel you can coast your way to a win - why wouldn't you?
  6. I think just got a playground rebuttal... Let's look at the most recent Conservative regime, using the link you provided: Surplus years: + 25.3 Billion Deficit years: - 144.7 Billion Net (deficit): - 119.4 Billion The end result: if you're casting your vote based on how a government manages finances, hold you nose and pick your poison.
  7. The federal Conservatives have no track record of reducing the public debt.
  8. I think that's exactly what's going on. And I think some of the holding on the OL doesn't get called for the same reason.
  9. Completed in 2010.
  10. We have done the same in our Hutterite Colony. Maple, Linden, Green Ash, Balsam Poplar, Blue Spruce, Birch & various fruit trees. Our green ash have even spread seed into the nearby woods - ash are thriving amongst the wild poplar and oak. We also have a firm policy to leave the wild oaks standing as much as possible - they thrive in almost every yard.
  11. This would be a good place to spend carbon tax dollars: https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/tree-planting-climate-change-1.5201102
  12. Meanwhile, VAJ throws one pick and goes right on playing duck and chuck into double and triple coverage. I'm sure KJ knew the risks, but he also knew what it would take to possibly win.
  13. Who's better? I mean other PBP guys yell louder but you can't beat Bob's concise description.
  14. Posey made several grabs in triple coverage.
  15. The blitzes from Bighill are beyond obvious - you can literally see the RB adjusting before the snap every time.
  16. The blitz was either not getting through or VAJ was stepping away from it. This left the secondary in one on one situations most of the time. As soon as the first tackle was missed, everyone else had to run a long way to get there. With the front 4 we have Hall could drop 8 men into coverage when they play prevent. Why the cuss he blitzes more than once or twice in prevent is beyond me.
  17. Manitoba Hydro owns numerous fibre optic communication lines. Private ISPs connect to their trunks in order to run their networks, be they radios or fibre optic lines. Check out p. 132 of the Floodway Expansion Proposal https://www.gov.mb.ca/sd/eal/registries/4967floodway/eis/mainreport-vol1/chapter4.pdf
  18. Gotta tackle VA in the backfield. Quick slants have been open for the O all day.
  19. You opinion should be based on facts. eg. the plus, minus stats. If it isn't, prepare to be called out. In my opinion, yes, Laine could be a better two way hockey player. However, if you don't have guys with good hands around the net, you will have a team that works their tails off to earn a .500 record and usually doesn't make it past the first round of the playoffs. A team with solid scoring talent can be off their game in the first and/or second period but still come out with a win, simply because they can put the puck in the net. Over a grueling 84 game schedule, that is crucial.
  20. I don’t think Scheer will be able to get the NDP onside & topple a Liberal minority, the way Harper could. Those connections do not appear to be there.
  21. The hypocrisy and imagined morality from BOTH PARTIES is hard to comprehend, much less stomach.
  22. It has been a crazy month - I will finally have time to watch a game.
