If these measures stay in place for any length of time, I don't see how they could justify opening schools.

Osh doesn’t make changes! Hecht is better for Hall’s soft zone! -
BREAKING NEWS Because of rising numbers in Brandon and reports of large gatherings, Prairie Mountain Health Region is being moved from code Yellow to Orange. Effective Monday: Group sizes restricted to 10 in western Manitoba and masks will be mandatory in public places. (CBC) (CP)

During the April, May lockdown, it was perceived as a Winnipeg problem. “It can’t happen to us outside the perimeter.” Brandon is simply the largest symptom of a pervasive problem. But the vibe is changing, it seems like people are starting to come around.

Putting people in harm’s way is the opposite of what a religion or religious person is supposed to do. It has become so ridiculously misguided in some cases, and Covid 19 has quite frankly exposed the underbelly.

He won't tell us what we want to hear. But with Wade, at least you know what's going on.

So many ruined drinking games...

It’s depressing how bad things need to get, before deniers will shut up.

Most of the Interlake - Eastern cases are travel related as well.

I have an uncle in ICU, and my aunt or any other family can't even visit. I think anyone still not taking Covid seriously - should be required to explain their actions to people who have been impacted like that.

With Cargill, it didn't happen till they had over 100 cases. And that was with beef cattle, that can just be left on pasture. There will be thousands of hogs euthanized if (when) Maple Leaf shuts down. We used to have dozens of slaughter houses in Manitoba, with employees who were well compensated, but I guess the current model is more progressive. /sarcasm

1. Social Distancing 2. Hand Washing 3. Masks

Sure. But some people have had accidental contact with a known case, pick up the virus, never get sick in any way, but transmit it to others. Tho$3 $hould be te$ted - and I hope they are.

I needed billboards - I had no idea what was going on! 😉

I find that odd. I know someone that went for a test, because they unknowingly encountered someone who had been in an area with known cases. This person has no symptoms. I just think Pallister saying that will discourage people from acting responsibly.
-
Just crunching numbers: 1500 tests is about 0.1% of Manitoba's population If they were to do this for an entire year (0.1 x 365), they would have tested more than a third of the population (36.5%)

I’d pay $$ to see a check down to Harris right now... -
In all seriousness, selling summer veggies as we do every year, has become a social distancing / curb side procedure.

No contact worries - Mennonites tend to grow their own veggies.

I believe the brits used to take their malaria medicine with gin - you may have just found the cure.

Between Sweden, Trump and Stella Emmanuel - we have all the guidelines and solutions we need.

Not spreading further from those 5 communities. We are not hearing high case numbers, so hopefully that is a good sign. The hospitalizations are a concern.

I actually know someone who was on hydrochlorique for several months (lupus). 1. “I've been on hydroxychroquine and it's a nasty drug. I had to be weaned off it over a few months period of time.” 2. “ I was alarmed when she said its supposed to be an over the counter drug, in that video.” 3. “ I had to increase my prescription glasses every 6 months and had to get blood tests done every month to see if the drug effects my liver.”
