  1. I would imagine he’ll still have the Grey Cup MOC / MOP at running back, and some pretty solid nationals on the interior OL. Add a perennial all - star at the left tackle position - he should be only moderately handicapped.
  2. 600 yards max, baby.
  3. All best to Lapo. In spite of the criticism, he has done well here and he engineered the ideal playoff offence.
  4. I have the same dilemma...
  5. nayyyyyy How about chicken feet or goose heads? I have relatives who would kill for them...
  6. Darvin looking around the field at the end of the game: "where's my dog?"
  7. It has been getting late early...for a while now...
  8. I believe he has been overrated for quite a few seasons.
  9. He did us a solid - twice. Chris Streveler - the man, the myth, the Molsonator
  10. Welcome to the society of obscure references. Exhibit A: the Beaufort Post.
  11. 35 is not that old for a smart and effective OL.
  12. Ok, then. The Ti-Cats had a great season, but that does not make them any less inept in the Grey Cup game.
  13. Relatable.
  14. After watching them block for Harris in the playoffs, I’m almost inclined to agree with you.
  15. Man - he was playing for the shoo-in GC champs.
  16. Funniest thing on those wired episodes: "he disrespected me on the internet...man...he disrespected me on the internet."
  17. Edit: I meant to write ‘Collaros had 170 yards passing in the Grey Cup.’ I also wonder how much of the dependence on Harris is by design? He was the Grey Cup MOP & MOC, after all.
  18. I'm sitting on the fence when it comes to Matt Nichols, but when it comes to Blue Bomber Quarterbacks this year, passing yards are not the best indicator. I mean, we only had 170 yards passing in the Grey Cup, while laying absolute beating on the Hamilton Tiger Cats. Bottom line, whoever the QB is, they need to have more success throwing the ball the 20 - 50 yards downfield, because then Bryant & Co. can just rip that LOS wide open.
  19. I love this league, but things like that make even the diehards cynical.
  20. To tell you the truth, any liver other than chicken goes into our composter.
  21. It’s excellent, especially chicken liver. We grow our own chickens, but even then, liver is only available a few times each year.
  22. I see your pate and raise you home - grown, breaded liver with onions & fries.
  23. If you wanted a movie reference, I'm not your guy. I very rarely watch movies - I prefer certain shows where there is actual character development. After the CFL is done, my viewing time generally becomes reading time.
  24. We can keep it safe in the flats, with a 15 yard cushion.
  25. I don't know their family situation, I just stated the facts I'm familiar with. This is a volatile sport where careers can end at any time. I dare say plenty of people would not put $100 K at risk for the sake of a CFL contract. Coaches are different, because they don't have the risk of a career ending injury. As for players signing (or not signing) in Winnipeg - every situation is unique and family could be a consideration.
