The $5, $10, & $50 bills - would have some interesting stories...

New France (17th - 18th century): the "no Black Robes - no fur trade" policy with the natives 16th - 18th century Europe: assimilation and/or killing of Anabaptists and others who did not conform to established religions Canadian Residential Schools (also includes Anglican, Lutheran and others): the longest running genocide in world history. From fairly early on in New France, to as recent as 1996 And more...

The intent is still to control an oppressed segment of the population - even if the definition is a micrometre off target.

Good God, that's eugenics, in 2021.

Not to take this too far off topic, but I developed a lower back issue from too much sitting and marking at my computer. Seeing Dr. Partridge at Spectrum Health for a tune up a couple times a year, coupled with a stretching program he put me on, does the trick.

They have some serious work to do.

Only word of mouth, to be honest.

I just booked for someone today. Earliest available slot (in Selkirk) was June 16.

My brain is literally numb after spending 2 minutes on that page. These types have mostly been removed from local area Facebook groups, now they have migrated over there en masse. They'd be hilarious if they weren't so dangerous.

Ok, I will post it. With a warning that comments sections on that Facebook group border on insanity. https://fb.watch/5PChZrguET/ If the link doesn't work, search for Winnipeg Alternative Media on Facebook.

My understanding is they need 75% with one shot, 20% with 2 shots, then they can start to open up. I would think they started the 2nd shot in order to achieve those percentages sometime this month.

Him and that Chiropractor have both been arrested. There's a clip of the doc freaking out because the cops are vaccinated.

This is true, and I did vote PC in 2016. But it quickly became apparent that 2 or 3 people were calling all the shots in the government. So, I don't think we are much further ahead. And I think the NDP's financial mismanagement got blown out of proportion. It sure was a quick fix A.K.A more $$ from Ottawa.

And how did the budget get balanced? The transfer payments from Ottawa are a billion dollars higher - the balanced budget has little or nothing to do with Pallister or his policies.
-
Exactly. The commission did not recommend dissolving school divisions. Also, the government's silence on what's going to happen to smaller schools...is deafening.

Inexplicable? Hilarious. Two forward lines and two D pairings in a game that went to triple OT. I guess the simple explanation doesn't cut it...

What an amazing overhaul that has turned out to be. They are overhauling education - to save 40 million dollars by getting parents to do some of the work for free. Again - amazing thought process The truth is, they hired a consultant who made the same recommendations that were made in Nova Scotia - almost 90% identical The only difference that I can see so far: in Nova Scotia they kept school divisions intact but amalgamated them. Here, the system will be gutted by 2022, and Education will be governed from the Leg. Now, I don't know as much about the health care overhaul, but the way education is being done should set off some serious alarm bells.

The situation is bad enough - overreacting to it helps no one. 1. 60% of the population now has at least 1 shot. 2. They announced today that 70% of the people in hospital have not been immunized. Were those people eligible for the shot? If so, for how long? WE DON'T KNOW. Therefore, no one can say "the people who chose not to get vaccinated are the problem." 3. Cutting 18 ICU beds was not necessary
-
Correct. But the higher percentage of shots don't get elevated, which is why they play that way.
-
The current style of goaltending yields the highest percentage of saves. Very few shooters can elevate the puck when they're in close - definitely not on a consistent basis. Goalies get into trouble when they go down too early - like Smith on the Stastny OT goal.
-
Hmmmm - high vaccine hesitancy in ND?
-
I listened to CJOB while splitting and stacking firewood - watched the game recap afterward - highly recommend.
-
The Stastny OT winner & both Ehlers goals tonight - long hard wristers high to the glove side. Looks like some solid film study...right there.

Just imagine the worship if McDavid had scored OT winner last night...they would have dedicated a shrine 5 minutes after the game.
