  1. 19. 19 is a prime number. Let 19 stand alone If that means anything...it wasn't supposed to...
  2. And watch SK. & Ottawa vacuum them up.
  3. I love how conversations evolve around here. No, I'm not splitting this thread. 😤
  4. Yes, that would be disturbing. But it's also disturbing that contact tracers have not been delivering a consistent message.
  5. Quite frankly, I can believe it. Everything other than vaccines is 90% bull poop anyway. She's a professional & I think she could stand her ground if she really needed to. Just watch, MB will soon do the same thing. Dr. Roussin has been hinting for a while now - 'that we will have public health measures in place, but they will not be mandated or enforced.' They need to shift their focus to those pockets of vaccine hesitancy and forget about group sizes and capacity limits.
  6. I was thinking a 3 yard gain and getting clobbered by 2 - 3 linebackers. Very few backs can take punishment the way Andrew Harris can.
  7. Flanders in the flats - all night long...
  8. Symptoms of a system stretched to the max.
  9. Eastern Canada is having a rainy summer.
  10. Rich is off on a canoeing trip. Maybe shoot him a PM in a few days.
  11. Does anyone know the double vax rate of Winnipeg?
  12. Not hearing anything. Previous Interlake spikes were remote / northern.
  13. I still can't wrap my brain around this. Shut the most of the world down for the better part of a year and then some, then have Olympics in a country with an insanely low vaccine uptake.
  14. It often seemed like 'Let's stop doing this before they actually stop us.' Some games, I would compare to deliberately sacrificing your Queen in a game of chess - because the other guy might capture her in the next few moves.
  15. What the cuss is going on over there?
  16. Excellent job by Wab Kinew - I just took the time to listen again. For them to try labeling that as bullying - is beyond tone deaf.
  17. In most cases it's not even misunderstanding, it's deliberate ignorance. You can show them it's incorrect, but they won't back down, because they've spent the past year mouthing off about it.
  18. Outstanding block by Obby Khan on that play.
  19. Or, the most recent logical brilliance: 'the public health orders are not constitutional, therefore, we don't actually have to pay the fines.'
  20. She is not your typical PC. Unfortunate side effect: Indigenous people just lost an excellent minister.
  21. Eileen Clarke resigns from cabinet - over Palister's 'statue remarks' https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/eileen-clarke-resigns-cabinet-pallister-indigenous-comments-1.6102299
  22. There was a lot going on and far too much inconsistency. If any semblance of all this remains in September, we will see more early retirements.
  23. I read the reports every day. Nothing beyond "we are seeing some transmission in schools." When there have been some cases, one contact tracer will ask the entire cohort to isolate, while another will say they don't need isolate if everyone was wearing masks. It has been wildly inconsistent. Some schools stopped wearing masks altogether, and there were no repercussions (true story).
  24. Schools outside Metro had very little or nothing of that. It seems there were other factors at play. But I don't imagine any of us will be seeing the data.
