This is a rule of the site, but it is mostly around legalities of not trying to steal content and making sure people who create content get the revenue / clicks / views for producing it. If Zach wants to post an article he wrote on this site, its his right as its his content. As for posting articles here, I have no problem with Zach promoting content here. As many have said, there is very little CFL content in even the major news sites these days, so if its a passion, I see no harm in doing what they are doing. It promotes the CFL and Winnipeg sports scene, which is great. Without any knowledge of traffic or the business model for Bonfire sports, I highly doubt they are getting rich off of it. It might trend to spam if he starts posting a new thread daily which simply links to an article, but that is not at all what I've seen so far. There is a stickied thread where he posts videos, and this is the first "dedicated" thread I've seen or remember. Go do your thing Zach and let the haters hate.

Not really a comparable because of the RFA years that are factored in to that for Lafreniere and future potential. I don't know that I'd want to pay Ehlers that much at least not much more than that, but if that is the top line offer, it may be a reason he goes to UFA to see what else is out there.

According to Murat Ates, Perfetti wanted a long term deal and the Jets wanted a bridge. For the bridge the two camps couldn’t agree on comparables Now that we are in training camp, people are more agreeable.

Walter’s was the special teams coach and had just moved into assistant GM. Questionable how much influence he had on the prior regime. He was interim GM in 2013. Hired O’Shea that off season when he had the interim tag removed and he and O’Shea have been together since. It takes all people executing at a high level to have the success the Bombers have had in the last 7 years.

There is also a time to disagree and commit so the whole team can move on. Should anyone be happy about being benched? No Should you pout and come of as whiny in front of the whole team? No Take it up with the coach behind closed doors. Don't let it spill over to affect any one else. And if ultimately you can't reconcile differences with management, you leave for a better situation as soon as you can.

Cable and tv channels will be gone within 10 - 20 years depending on when they think the subscriber base is low enough / when they age out. I have cable but only watch football and hockey on it. Everything else is streaming, youtube and podcasts for younger generations. Already see streaming services starting to buy the rights to professional sports. And when this all happens, guaranteed consumers will end up paying more.

Younger generations aren’t getting their drivers license at the same rate as older generations did. Autonomous cars will become a standard within the next 10 years. Then add another 10 for older cars to age out. Then the lawsuits will be on the AI when it needs to make an impossible decision.

No one is trying to let him off the hook. Of course he chose to drink and drive, and that was a really bad decision, and that is 100% on him. But it is also true that is very very likely that him drinking impaired his judgement and how he was driving.
