It would be nice to see them beat the Americans, but they will likely get shredded. The Latvians played as well as they possibly could…. The odds of them maintaining that level are slim to none. And there’s bound to be a let down after such a monumental win.

Canada looked like dogshit and deserved to lose that game, but give Latvia credit, they played well. One of the worst games I’ve ever seen by a Canadian team. Couldn’t connect on passes…. Just incredibly sloppy.

Don’t like the way Fleury went down. Jets likely short on D for the 3rd. Couldn’t tell from the replay, but it looked like the Leaf tugged his jersey and he went down awkwardly.

Tough to get a double minor high sticking penalty when you’re getting hooked and trying to get your stick free and play the puck. I’m not an Appleton fan, but that one is tough.
