Canada looked like dogshit and deserved to lose that game, but give Latvia credit, they played well. One of the worst games I’ve ever seen by a Canadian team. Couldn’t connect on passes…. Just incredibly sloppy.

Don’t like the way Fleury went down. Jets likely short on D for the 3rd. Couldn’t tell from the replay, but it looked like the Leaf tugged his jersey and he went down awkwardly.

Tough to get a double minor high sticking penalty when you’re getting hooked and trying to get your stick free and play the puck. I’m not an Appleton fan, but that one is tough.

Vegas gets away with a ton of hooking and grabbing. Their one penalty was hooking, but they could easily have 5-6 more…. That were more obvious than the one that was called. So of course the Jets get a late penalty. FFS
