The problem with FIFO thinking is that if it is not pruned vigorously, it becomes an insular, siege, us-against-the-world-protect each-other mentality which rapidly deteriorates. I don't know football stratagems all that well, but I know people and dysfunctional groups, and this has become one of those.

Remember being excited that O’Shes the former special teams guru was our coach? He just got played. He’s beyond loyal to the vets and the young guys getting any chance show how rotten his thought process is. Time for him to go.
