Exactly, same thing in Sask this year. I was actually surprised how many Rider fans showed, the fanbase is the unhappiest that I've seen since the late 90s. Winning at home in '13 set up some unrealistic expectations for this season IMO. Also, nobody wanted to see Winnipeg 3peat on our turf, the same would be true if the situation was reversed.

Been to IG West a number of times so I have seen first hand that when the concourses are packed and when you go out into the bowl you can't notice the empty seats.

 Agree to disagree, but it was a good good crowd. IG West? lol, not anymore - the Bomber curse of Mosaic just ended.

I was there, and the concourses/rail bars were packed all night. A lot of Rider fans just socializing in the stadium and out of their seats. It's a tough look on TV, but the fans were there for the most part. Love the new stadium, but it's sure a different atmosphere than the old barn.

Tough loss for your team, but congrats on another great season. Respect to those Bomber fans at the game, that’s one of the loudest games I can remember in new Mosaic. What an atmosphere 💯

Hey all, just wanted to throw this out there to gauge interest. If you guys win Sunday, there is going to be a huge shortage of hotel/Air BNB in the city. After seeing the pricing of the BNBs, I think a lot of Bomber fans will be looking for somewhere cheaper to stay. We have a fully furnished 2 bedroom basement, massive sectional couch, big screen, private bathroom, wet bar, etc. It is however a shared entrance to the home. I would look at renting the basement out to older, responsible football fans. Our home is in a newer area (NW), and walking distance to all amenities (restaurants, pubs, Timmies, etc). As far as pricing - the would be negotiable and fair. 

We are Rider season ticket holders (24 years) and will be attending the events and the game. If this interests anyone, I can provide more details. Good luck on Sunday!
