  1. I don’t even see a problem with wavering if more information becomes available. For example, early 2022, I still thought we for sure needed an American running back. Brady’s play totally took a 180 and I was glad to change my opinion. Something like: Having no interior DL who could push the pocket and 2 gassed out DEs cost us the last 2 Grey cups. That’s a hill I’ll die on.
  2. I think that’s more of a message board thing in general rather than a MBB/OB thing, but I will say I felt what you’re saying wayyy more on OB (and TEP) like 06-11ish.
  3. No way. He’s serviceable at worst. Definitely deserves to be out there, just some of us think there’s some more talent to be had at that position. I wouldn’t lump Augustine in with guys like Jackson or Shmeckel either. Augustine and Kramdi are decent-solid.
  4. I think he’s been generally positive about the team since the drought ended. Not sure how true, but I’ve heard over the years Friesen was butthurt about having to cover football instead of curling. Would explain a lot of the snark towards the Bombers.
  5. Christian Aurmell talks Bombers a decent amount. I think he’s the next Tait or Irving, if he wants to go that way.
  6. Yeah he’s got a pretty narrow frame but I mean we’ve seen guys like Hefney and Clint Kent for example in the past excel in that spot.
  7. Something like that. He took some reps from the middle spot too late last season iirc.
  8. I think Parker would be a prime option to play Kramdis spot. He’s on the smaller side but such a good tackler, and lateral quickness.
  9. I’d agree on Pinball being canonized by the CFL back in the 90s. Granted, his gimmick is the big-eyed motivational speaker and he does a good job of playing up to that, ingenuous or not I have no idea. They had a lot of d-bags in the mid-2000s (Ricky Williams notwithstanding. I give them props for that) and quite a few clowns lately. Fair is fair, they brought in Bailey this year so we can’t say it’s all slimy.
  10. I thought his time was up when he embarrassed himself fighting fans. That’s gotta be it for him now though no?
  11. Agree, Hamilton is a QB away from being a scary team. As much as I hate them, I’d love to see Rourke in Calgary. They need a marketable player like that to save their franchise. As an organization, they’re pretty hooped right now. Damn. Stats don’t lie I guess, really thought I remembered Drummond being the guy that teams game planned around. I remember him making a lot of big plays on like 2nd and 2 when the whole country knew he was getting the ball. I still say Anderson was slightly overrated. Piled a lot of stats running the ball when the stamps were up big in games.
  12. Maybe in September. Even then I’d doubt it for this year. I’d like to see him come back to somewhere other than BC.
  13. Probably Lapo himself. I think we had Gary Crowton and Jamie Baressi here during Bucks time.
  14. Straight up dumb. Rourke didn’t even get a shot and they drafted a kid who’s probably going to get them all fired. The anti-CFL bias is so real in the states.
  15. No way would he be the second choice, and I don’t even think he played with Millington. You’re thinking Cory Philpot, who was never the second back either. Sean Millington was a fullback, he wasn’t 1A over anybody. Is it the Hall of Fame, or the Hall of Longevity? If Kelvin Anderson is in, Robert Drummond should be too. Drummond was the more dominant back.
  16. Sometimes Buck gets a little too cute on those gimmick plays. He was brought up by Lapo after all.
  17. Ford could very well take a starting corner spot. I’d like to see what Jake Kelly could do at FS as well.
  18. I think Cole will be an impact player this year. Could steal Wilson’s spot, or (preferably) Kramdi if they can make the ratio work.
  19. Yeah, I hate to say it but Hardrick was rough last year. I think whoever is in will be an overall upgrade.
  20. Geez, might as well throw Arash in there too Andy Fantuz eats corn the long way
  21. Anytime I or her mother put on a blue shirt of any kind my 2 year old says “Yay Blue Bombers!”
  22. Very kind the times I met him at signings, fan days. The Never Alone Foundation is an amazing legacy for him to leave. He also did a lot to help dig the club out of a massive financial hole in 99-2000. RIP Lyle.
  23. How is their app for you on those? I’ve had nothing but problems and crashing with it on Xbox and Samsung TV. It’s only ever reliable through my laptop or phone.
  24. This. If TSN wants 18-40 year olds watching, they’ve got to get a decent streaming app across all platforms. No one should have to plug the laptop in, it’s 2024. I’ve been streaming everything else through Xbox/PS for over a decade.
