On the snaps when it’s Willie/Adams/Woods/Hubert it’s not terrible. Even Woods and Adams on at the same time can make up for some of Thomas’ decrepitude. If anyone gets hurt or gassed out it’s more or less game though. Overall, pretty big fuckup to get that bad of a depth situation Would this not have been a perfect game for them to dress Samson?

For sure, just the timing of the Fayed release made me think they might be activating Garbutt sooner than normal.

So Garbutt could be healthy and just “hurt” to not come off the 6-game early? That would make sense

Totally agree on Rosery, we didn’t need JA back. I get what you guys are saying, and we are in fact overpaying for offence in general. I think letting Brady go would have done more damage to the brand/casual fan perception than the team itself. I also think that with MOS track record, if we’d gone straight American RB, we would have seen 6 other jobber Canadians moved up the roster beyond their value. At 26, I don’t think Brady should be retained after his current contract either way.

I don’t think anyone on here is foolish enough to believe they could have kept Zach and Dru. Those of us in the Keep Brown camp wanted them to trade Collaros and his albatross contract in the off-season (when teams still would have bit) and let Brown continue to develop as a 1A with Strev. I still feel like that would have been the most sound big picture decision.

We need more of a Bakari Grant type If anything too, it will open things up a little bit for Demski and Wolitarsky. Lucky can take a hitch to the house at any time if he’s being ignored.
