Lawler was our leading receiver last year. He's got 1000 yards written all over him now that he's an established player. I'd hate to lose him after two years of development.

They were closer to a lottery team than they were the playoffs if it wasn't for covid. Toffoli, Jake Allen, and Anderson (while losing Domi) is not some huge upgrade. They still have no elite top end talent. I do like Calgary's roster composition. But Monahan and Gaudreau don't scare me. If they stumble again I could see them making big changes in Calgary. Vancouver - lost their work horse goalie on a career year. I think they step back Edmonton - disgusting goalie combo. They're not going anywhere leaning on 38 year old Mike Smith and Koskinen. They needed to land Markstrom. And no, Yamamoto shooting 25% for 30 games or whatever is not some ppg player like Oilers fans have been saying he is. Power play and penalty kill WILL regress. They were #1 in the league last year at both. That's not happening again. Ottawa- obviously We could very well slide down to dead last though if Hellebuyck gets hurt or our defense doesn't hold up.

Without transparency of salaries it's hard to speculate, but with the cap crunch this year some impact player was always going to be gone. I thought it was going to be Jeffcoat. He might be the highest paid db in the CFL now, and that very well may not work within Walters' budget and he decided to go with the lower priced players like Taylor, Mason. It is what it is.

Why is Riderfans.com circle jerking over Nick Marshall? I legit don't get it. They're saying he's the best in the league at his position. All I remember is Winston Rose returning a pick back 65 yards and Adams absolutely torching Marshall in the Western Final.

I'm hoping McGuire remains a Bomber and doesn't follow Rigmaiden to BC. Either way he's a #2 right now, but he has #1 potential. I'd hate to see us be the feeder for another team.

We could go 6-12, stumble backwards into the playoffs and if we won 3 games in a row in any fashion I would still say we were the GOATs. And 11-7 with a Grey Cup is a heck of a lot better than 15-3 without one. How is this even a real conversation right now?

I own a business out of town. Xplornet and MTS are available but they both suck. They have download speeds of 1-10 mbps even though I pay for 50. I think I pay about 100/month or so. After the weak roughing the passer call on Jefferson in the beginning of the game, he comes right off the edge causing a clear fumble and biggie recovery. I've said it before and I'll say it again: All the calls went against us the whole playoff run and they overcame every one. Refs gifting Calgary a TD just minutes into the game, Fajardo clearly being 3 yards over the LOS and no call despite a challenge, and then Jefferson getting a weak call in a championship game on him. That's a Mike O'Shea coached team through and through.
