Schoen is pushing 30 & his body is beat up. I think we only keep one of Lawler/Schoen next season. We need to spend the money elsewhere.

It was so frustrating watching that game. You'd think after nearly twenry weeks of training camp, exhibition & regular season games that the RedBlacks with Massoli at qb would have been more competitive than what we saw on Saturday. Nope, they just rolled over for the Riders. I've never been impressed with the way Dyce coaches that team. It's like they're satisfied with winning 8 games.

No, Schoen is the easiest to replace. But also move on from Bighill, Wilson, Thomas & Alexander. That's a ton of money.

Probably because of his foot injury he suffered. He has a different launch point on his throws. He can't throw the way he used to.

Wow. 3.. Brady Oliveira. That TD he scored showed not only great strength but balnace as well. He's dialed in. Happy Honker to Nic Demski. Two tds last night. He looks ready for the playoffs.

I believe that Vernon Adams would have won this game. But Campbell got his man, Rourke where he wants him screwing over Big Play VA. The Head Coach's stupidity has killed this team. If the Lions finish third this season, is his job at risk? Rourke isn't playing anywhere near the level he played at in 2022.

That whiff on that tackle by Haba was brutal. He has to be much better than that.

What an amateur broadcast from TSN. There was only one team on the field that mattered tonight & that was the BC Lions. The Ti Cats didn't matter to Lalji & Suitor. It was all BC Lions all the time but absolutely nothing about the Hamilton Tiger Cast. It was just ridiculous. Such a homer broadcast. What did they do? Tejll Farhan he was doing the broadcast last night. Oh, probably.

My foot & ankle are totally screwed. I need a cane for balance to walk. My bones are fused & my foot won't work like it's supposed to work. Without a cane, I walk like I'm drunk & could fall any time without warning. It's particularily scary getting in & out of a bathtub. I can't run or jump anymore. When I think of someone like Jeremiah Massoli & what he went through with his foot & ankle injury, same with Ville Heinola, it brings back some baaaad memories. That is closer to the truth than you'll ever know. Thanks. Appreciate it.

I had ankle surgery in 2015 & developed a bone infection 3 weeks after going under the knife. An operation that was supposed to take 4 months to completely heal kept me off work for 16 months & bedridden for 12. Absolutely no weight bearing was allowed. My home became a prison. The infection flared up 4 times over those 16 months & I was hospitalized for a week each time as they drained the swelling & gave me these powerful intravenous antibiotics to kill the bacteria. It got to the point where they were considering amputating my leg below the knee. Luckily, that never happened. However, if I was a pro hockey player like Heinola, my career would have been over.

That may have been the best middle linebacker performance that new kid ... was his name Brown???... played in years. He & Ayers were great together.

That was torture on Saturday. The week before it was Rourke. No wonder NFL fans ridicule our league.

I remember the off season before1988. GM Cal Murphy refused to pay Clements & Reaves what they wanted on new contracts so he cut Reaves who signed with Washington & Clements retired to practice law with hai wife in Chicago ( before he got into coaching). Joe Pop had a bad back & called it a career. Brutal off season.

I expect MBT to play the entire game this Friday. I agree Ford is not a starting qb in this league. He's a super talented & athletic qb who can run but can't read a defense if his life depended on it. With Ford as their qb, the Elks receivers are just being wasted.

Stamps just suck. There's no character or pride on that team anymore. The fans can see it & are fed up After what happened Saturday night in the Stamps locker room how can you even sell this team to the fans in Calgary anymore? There was a big shouting match in the locker room between Tre Roberson & Josiah Coatney a rookie DL. He was the one who laid out Zach Collaros earlier in the year when we played the Stamps at McMahon Stadium. Apparently, the older Stamps veterans on the team, Michel, Roberson, Beggelton etc are trying to teach the younger players, "The Stamps Way" or how they were taught to be pros by other veterans who they played with as young players. There's still 6 players left from the 2018 Grey Cup Champs. These entitled younger players are having none of it & refuse to listen to the veterans trying to help them. These guys will only do what they want to do & refuse to listen to these "old men". Judging by the comments on social media, some of the younger Stamps fans on X were taking the young players side & calling Roberson an "Old Man who yells at clouds". Beggelton. Michel & Roberson are getting tired of being ignored & things boiled over after their 6th straight loss on Saturday night. so much so that the two players had to be separated. My question is why is it up to the players? It should be up to Dave Dickenson & his staff to establish the culture. Not Roberson or Beggelton. If these players don't care then they should all be released come this off season to send a message, If they don't want to FI then FO. That entire coaching staff needs to go as well. Oh & then there's Defensive Lineman Mike Rose who thinks teammates fighting each other in the locker room in front of everybody including the one or two media members who still follow the team is a good thing. What a dumpster fire. We need to appreciate what we have as a team, fellas....
