Yeah, he's a former Bomber but he never had any intentions of coming back here & now he's making a quarter mill to sit on the bench.. On twitter, I had a Lions fan ask me how it was Hervey's fault that Chungh was having a miserable season when he was an all star here. I said it's all on Hervey for signing & overpaying Chungh if he isn't playing well. How is that not on Hervey? He signed the guy to a huge contract so has to take responsibility if it doesn't work out.

When Laing got hurt a few weeks back, I had no sympathy for him. He is one of the dirtiest players in the league.

Our offense just wastes receivers. Petermann, Adams, Wolitarsky, Whitehead, Lawler. All underused & under appreciated. As much as I love Harris but we over use him at the expense of other skilled players. This is a totally unbalanced offense. I'm sure most of our receivers will want out when their contracts expire. Especially if LaPo returns next year as nothing will change.

You seem to have a hard time figuring this out. Math is hard.

Unfortunately, I'm sure Booch can attest that there are a lot of coaches out there from the pro level down to pee wee & bantam that run their offense no matter what. They may know their system cold & it may be a great offense but as you say it depends upon finding the right players to fit what they run. If they do, they win championships. If they don't they lose. But they're stubborn & will run the same system even if the key players don't fit. The result is usually a disaster. The great coaches are the ones that tailor their offense to the players they have. They know what it takes to win. You don't put a Volkswagen Jetta in the Indy 500. Why make a qb who can run into a pocket passer? Why make a pocket passer into a scrambler?

Well, our guy has a different offense & he ain't changing. Frustrating as hell.

We'll never win a damned thing with our 2 coordinators. They've had years to get this right. Forget continuity. It's overrated. Get new O & D coordinators after this season.

The Eskimos had other issues in that locker room last season from all reports I read. Do you remember Reilly's last game vs the Bombers last year? He wanted out so badly & he showed it with his demeanour & body language. It was a pathetic display for a so called team leader. Could he have made it less obvious he didn't want to play there? That's why I have zero sympathy for Reilly getting beat up & losing in BC. And then, is Jason Maas a Grey Cup coach? I have my doubts.

Man, TSN sure pumps Duane Forde's playing days. He was a freaking blocking fullback. That's all he did. Or line up as a TE on punts.

Things gotta change, JBR but they won't until the team or LaPo does himself. I just can't see our O as sustainable long term especially with Streveler.

Throw it deep & let Walker go get it. That's his style of play & it's something we don't do. Walker would be very, very, very unhappy playing in our offense. We don't key on one or two players to make big plays. My expectations for the passing game has really fallen. Even if we signed the best deep ball receiver in the CFL, I wouldn't get excited because LaPo would find some way to **** it up. He'd turn a 1,500 yard receiver into a 700 yard receiver. Everyone made a big deal about Darvin Adams coming back. How many yards did he get? How many times was he targeted??

Watching Derrell Walker lighting up the Ti Cats secondary. How neutered would he be if he played for us because of LaPo? How bad would he look in our offense? My concern is that we are now the 9th choice among CFL elite receivers to sign here. Why would any elite receiver want to play for us? This is a serious problem but our HC just can't see it.

Which may not be a bad thing either.
