You bet I did. I called them Monday morning & spoke to a loss prevention officer. Then in the afternoon when I got home from my Covid test I got a call from a senior manager expressing her regrets & apologizing for what happened. She said protocols in place were not followed & that action will be taken. She said they know who the clerk is. She asked if I could call her once I get the test results back & I said yes. I said I'd let her know. If I get sick I don't know if I can sue. I'm hoping my test will be negative. Meanwhile I've been told to self quarantine until we know for certain if I have Covid.

I don't begrudge a player the chance to make as much as he can because all it takes to end a career is one injury. But when a player plays all 9 teams at the same time well screw him.

I won't be saying much about Ambrosie anymore as people here know my thoughts. Unless he says & does something really dumb that is newsworthy. No point as it just becomes a broken record. Your second paragraph: Thanks!! 🙂

Thanks, comments like yours make me feel good. I'm not treated as an old guy from some bygone & forgotten era. I was lucky to see a lot of the legends actually play. And I like to keep their memories alive as much as I can as they deserve that respect. Once again, thank you.

I'm going for a Covid test this afternoon. This past Saturday it was my birthday. My son & daughter in law as well as her Dad came over for a BBQ. I decided last minute to go to the liquor store to get a bottle of whiskey & a bottle of rum. The cashier was coughing & sneezing & saying things like, " I should take a break" or "I should leave" as she coughed, hacked & sneezed constantly. She wasn't wearing a mask & once she scanned the liquor handed me the bottles in a plastic bag as soon as she finished coughing on her arm. I never should have taken them but I did. So, now 2 days later I have a slight headache, a bit of a runny nose & a metallic taste in my mouth... This morning I called Alberta Healthy Services & i'll be tested at a drive thru location. Meanwhile self isolating now until I find out if I have Covid. I'll just go back & forth from home to the testing today. Other than that stay home. To say I'm furious is an understatement. AHS told me that the liquor store contravened health rules by their employees not wearing masks. What the hell was this person even at work for????

I deleted my remarks about some of my non favourite players. Why should I be berated & mocked because I appreciate players on other teams?? Some here better start realizing that they're no better than some of the dumbass Prider fans that they claim they despise yet they act in the same childish way. Anyway, done with this thread.

In 1969, we had a running back in camp named Darwin 'Go Go' Gonnerman. One of those hyped signings. I think he was one of the reasons Lunsford traded All Canadian halfback Dave Raimey to the Argos for Wally Gabler. Earl thought he could be a great running back but it didn't turn out that way. Gonnerman was an underwhelming player. He lasted 3 games & his career with the Bombers was finished. He suffered an injury either in a game or at practice. He has zero carries & receptions for the Bombers but had 5 KO returns for 150 yards which was a 30 yard return average. He was a bit player with Ottawa & Edmonton in 1970 & 71. Never forgot his name... Go Go Gonnerman.
