I've pvr'd a lot of movies since March & have binged watched Star Trek: Enterprise & Deep Space 9. I like watching old Westerns from the 40's on to the early 70's. Same with old war movies.

Whenever a list appears & the Riders ae involved their fans just flood the results. Funny how so the Riders had so many great players & have only won 4 Grey Cups.

It beats watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Especially this year.

Chiefs offense is unstoppable. You might slow them down for a few series but they just keep coming at defenses & find weaknesses.

Posters here know my feelings about the 1972 Blue Bombers going 10-6 & being the regular season Western Conference Champs in the CFL during the regular season that year before losing to the 8-8 Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Western Final. We were heavy favourites to take care of the Riders in the Western Final that day having gone undefeated at home that season. Instead we lost 27-24 & 48 years later I still remember how disappointed & sad I was walking out of Winnipeg Stadium that day. How that loss had stuck with me all these years. It didn't matter that we went 10-6, were the best team in the CFL, were the champs of the West & heavy favourites to win the GC. We didn't do it. We didn't get the job done. We lost on a ******* gadget play & lousy officiating. The season turned into a failure on just one play. Ask any player who wore a Bomber uniform that day & any Bomber fan who was alive when that game was played. The season was a failure. Regular season pennants & trophies mean squat. The Grey Cup is EVERYTHING. I don't care what you say, TBurgess.

I have one word to describe my feelings about the WJC. Why?

It's over. A phone call means nothing. I could phone the Alpha Romeo dealership in Calgary enquiring on the price of Giulia Ti Lusso. Doesn't mean I have the money to buy one or they'll sell it to me. Just grasping at straws now.

I just don't get your take. You are almost saying that regular season wins are more important than playoff wins. After 29 years that is your summary of the 2019 season? That Montreal is no longer an easy win? With your logic, it means that even though the Ti Cats were slaughtered in the GC they had a more successful season than the Bombers because they won more games in a weaker division during the regular season. After 13 months you should be happy we won instead of looking for things to nitpick. The Ti Cats can't even say that the Bomber victory was a fluke because their offense was destroyed by the Bomber defense. & Andrew Harris took care of the rest.

Who cares what the Bomber record was in 2019? Who got the Cup? We got the Cup. Who got the Cup? We got the Cup!!

Yeah, they got caught up in the excesses of being rock stars. Glenn Frey anointed himself to be the one who was the prick in the band. The one who disciplined & criticized the others except Don Henley. Frey used to insult & mock Randy Meisner because he always struggled to sing Take It To The Limit... Meisner used to suffer from stage fright & there were days when he said he couldn't sing that particular song. When he felt that way Frey would intimidate Meisner by arguing & insultIng him in order to get him to sing. Meisner would always do it because of Frey but he became so stressed out that he eventually quit. Frey also viciously went after Don Felder as well when the guitarist felt all money made from album sales & concert sales should be split evenly & not the majority to going to Henley & Frey.

Simmons was always a narcissistic *******. Looks like Kiss had a very similar band structure like The Eagles. Don Henley & Glenn Frey always thought that they were the real band & players like Bernie Leadon, Timothy B. Schmidt, Randy Meisner, Joe Walsh & Don Felder were replaceable parts not very important. That everyone adored Henley & Frey & could care less about the other guys which was not the case.. Take the case of Steuart Smith. The guy who is always front & centre onstage with the Eagles Joe Walsh, Henley, Frey (before he passed away) & Tim Schmidt. He replaced Don Felder after he was unceremoniously booted out of the band. Yet nearly 30 years later he still isn't an official member of the band & never will be. Reason? He doesn't have to share in the royalties he would have had be been a true band member all these years. More money for Henley this way. Frey & now Henley didn't feel he was deserving to be an Eagle & reap the financial rewards had he been an official Eagle. So good on Ace Frehley & Peter Criss for upstaging Paul Stanley & especially Gene Simmons by having a good time.
