WTH is Milt's excuse? I expect it from an asshat like Sanchez. Not Milt??? I mean, how can he condone what happened??

I've been out all afternoon & I pvr'd the Hammy & Stamps games. I just finished watching the pre game show on TSN & they found out Robertson was just suspended 1 game. Of course, Sanchez thinks its wrong because he hates the Bombers. Sanchez goes off on how O & DL head butt each other as do linebackers. Then he says that he understands the CFL wants to protect the qb. Then he says the suspension is unfair & tells Dunigan... Dunigan... whose had a number of concussions, had to retire because of them & still suffers their lingering effects today just how dumb the suspension is. Really??? Dunigan? Then Milt starts yelling at Sanchez, "I agree! I agree!!" WTF has happened to Stegall? He agrees with Sanchez that the headbut suspension on Robertson is wrong??? Now, Milt is a dirtbag like Sanchez.

I'm still angry with the Bombers for having such a piss poor effort yesterday & the headbutt yesterday. I don't care who wins today. And btw, in calgary it's nine degrees, raining & smoky. Air quality is close to 10. The only thing missing to make this a special day weather wise is snow. If 15,000 show up for this game, I'll be shocked.

Either the media like Ed Tait works for the Bombers so he'll just write fluff & feel good stories on the Bomber website or the one or two media left covering the team are so afraid of asking the tough questions & lose their media accreditations that they don't hold the coach or GM's feet to the fire with tough questions or scathing articles like we used to see years ago with the Tribune's & later CJOB Jack Matheson or the Free Press Don Blanchard. They'd be all over the way Osh manages the roster or why he decided to concede two singles yesterday. Alas, we get none of that today.

It would have automatically been reviewed by the Command Centre as it was a scoring play. It doesn't need to be challenged. It sure looks like it wasn't a touchdown. Looks like the ball touched the ground before the Rider receiver cradled it. Right or wrong ( looks wrong to me) the CC calls it. Once they make a decision, it's not reversible. No doubt we got screwed.

I thought that would have fired up the team to win but once again questionable decisions & bad plays cost us the game. Okay, don't get so damned dramatic. Collaros missed one play before the offense went out & was back in next series. I'm not downplaying it but if you think the CFL will suspend a player for life over that??? Come on. It should be an automatic ejection followed by a fine & a 3 game suspension. It won't be, however.

That was a headbutt. A stupid, selfish & undisciplined play by Roberts certainly suspension worthy & he should have been ejected. Not a broken leg or domestic violence. They won't ban Roberts for that head butt. However, the other stuff is BS & way too lenient.

Blame the CBA. Suspensions can be appealed. I think the most a player can receive is 3 games. The financial penalty is half a game patcheque. I just about hit the roof when Suitor said that Morrow is being a good teammate to Roberts with his long return. What a bunch of garbage. I know what Suitor was trying to say but it came out douchey.

And a DB shouldn't be thinking Pick 6 every time a team throws it. Or BC.

I'd say the DL had a better game than the secondary.

Their primary job is to turn the play inside & not let the running backs get outside of them. For the most part they did that. Morrow did have some longer runs, though. Jeffcoat had one sack at least while Jefferson had a knockdown.

What is it going to take for Osh to smarten up & throw a challenge flag on a play like that??? What are the coaches up top doing?

They both played fine. It was our secondary that was the problem. It has been all season & continues to be. They play soft zone coverage. They don't knock the ball down. They go for interceptions & get burned mightily.

We'd have lost that challenge as the ball hit the ground before Schoen secured it. I saw a facemask on Oliveira late in the game that was missed & O'Shea never challenged it as it looked blatant. Oliveira turned his head as he was running when the Rider player grabbed his mask.

You don't give up a point in that situation. Not with a 4 point lead under 3 minutes left. It meant a FG ties instead of a TD to win & look what happened. To me, by giving up the point we opened the door for the Riders. Our secondary was terrible all game long. Not surprised we lost the way they played. These guys just want the accolades. Instead of making sure the pass is incomplete they want a Pick 6. Look what happened. On offense, no return game meant a long field all game long. The Riders were always starting at or close to mid field. Not one kick or punt return for over 10 yards. Put McCrae back there returning punts & kicks. He's better than Parker who is useless.

O Lineman are going to get beat. Why do fans think that if players don't play perfect then they must be have had a bad game? Newsflash: Johnson can still play. Judge the guy on the whole game. Not one play. Our line wasn't the problem today. How about our secondary being stupid & trying to play heroes constantly & giving up huge chunks of real estate?? Why has Lawler suddenly gone quiet? Why does it take us nearly a half to get going?? Whose decision was it to concede a single point when we were up by 4????

Exactly. The key is what you say. We have to win tonight. Every game is huge for us as long as the Lions are chasing us. We can't afford to have a bad game to let the Lions get back into the race for first place. Hopefully, O'Shea keeps his players head on straight. I don't want us to have to go to BC for the WF. I care. Why give the Lions a psychological & weather advantage if we don't have to? I've seen too many great seasons from many teams go up in smoke in the playoffs.

Nah, he hated the Riders as much as sanchez hates us. I remember even saying on air that he didn't like the Riders. I wish they'd use Dave Naylor full time. The guy is very knowledgeable & has his finger on the pulse of the CFL.
