Turning point was when Richie Hall and Sam Hurl arrived at the stadium today. Those 2 need to be replaced before this team can take the next step. That and O'shea's coddling of his players and dumb decisions at critical times. If a player stinks, he needs to be replaced. How many games did Carmichael cost us with his horrible play before he finally left? And IIRC he left on his on accord, it wasnt even a situation where the Bombers got rid of him. And right up until the end O'shea would spoon feed us bulls**t about how they liked his game and he was coming around. Hurl has been a speed bump the entire season but ill bet if you asked O'shea he would tell you he is doing his job well and they like his game. I mean christ, in the postgame interview when Bob asked him about the godawful breakdowns in the secondary he STILL defended them saying something along the lines of it wasnt all their fault and its not why they lost. ENOUGH CODDLING ALREADY. Quit feeding us horsesh*t and telling us its filet mignon. You think guys like Hurl would still be around in the days of Cal Murphy or Dave Ritchie? Not a chance.

I listen the CJOB mostly because Bob is awesome and a legend. Brown is alright. Tait i dont care for. Having said that i really enjoy Walby on 1290. He's awesome.

Surprised no one has mentioned the trenches and how thoroughly we were dominated on both sides of the ball. They got smacked in the mouth by the Argos all game. Wilder ran all over us through huge gaps over and over again and we couldnt run the ball to save our freakin' lives. Both lines should be hanging their heads.

Garbage might be a little flattering the way he's been playing this year. Maybe more of a soupy hot pile of garbage thats been sitting in the heat for a few weeks behind an Indian/Thai fusion restaurant.

Oh and one more question. What the **** is wrong with Medlock this year? Two missed 39 yarders??? A high schooler could have made those.

He's an absolute joke. Just a slug out there with no speed, awareness, or tackle ability. Its too late this year but at this point i'd look into starting another Canadian on the o-line if it means getting that plug out of the lineup next year and bringing in an American difference maker at MLB.

Ive been saying it for a couple years now. This team will not take the next step with Buff in the lineup. He just doesnt care. He's a lazy **** in the defensive zone and is un-coachable. He's just a floater that acts like he's playing in a friday night beer league. He needs to go.

The 2 biggest defensive problems in my opinion are their refusal/stubbornness to play more man coverage and Sam Hurl. IMO we have the talent to play much more can coverage as opposed to the soft ass zone that teams shred up and down the field. And Hurl is just a slug. The guy looks like he's running in quicksand out there. Not to mention his lack of tackle finish and utter uselessness in anything resembling pass coverage over the middle. For a guy thats like 240 lbs its alarming how many times QB's and RB's break away from his tackles even when he's got 2 arms wrapped around them. Another issue is the blind loyalty MOS has for these guys. When Bear Woods became available im sure Walters and MOS talked about it and i'd put money down that MOS kiboshed it. I dont know how the guy can say "were happy with Sam Hurl" over and over again with a straight face. And stop feeding us b.s. about how the scheme of their defense doesnt allow for the MLB to put up stats. Give me a f'ing break. Have they invented a new type of defense that eliminates MLB usefulness??? The MLB on every team, in every league, on every planet is a tackle machine/stat machine. They are the QB of the D. Canadian or not he is a major weak link. Can you imagine this team with Bear Woods in the middle. It makes me sad to think. His position is too important to let a slug like that man it. Find a better player regardless of passport and make adjustments elsewhere. You have the flexibility.

Disagree. DB's are playing 5-10 yards off in prevent, you should be able to hit guys at will on quick hitters. He was under/over throwing guys all over the field.

I agree but 10-4 teams just dont make big changes mid-season even though Hall's defense is a ******* joke. Best we can hope for is an offseason change.

Did the Jets take the Bombers out for dinner and rub their shi**yness all over them? Brutal game from top to bottom. O-line crap, d-line manhandled, no run game, recievers giving up on balls, secondary trash, hurl being hurl. Its like watching a Jets game in cleats.

Thats the problem though. 10-4 teams dont make coaching changes and thats scary. We'll make the playoffs and get lit up. Hall's shadow better not darken the doors next season. HE NEEDS TO GO
