  1. Yeah, I can't even remember who said it and whether it was Friday or Saturday on H&L. "They" said Anaheim was at $5.2-3 AAV and Lindhom's camp was at $5.4. Now that it's been several days and Anaheim resolved of their problem, you would think the deal would be sealed. I guess we'll see.
  2. Reports before this weekend suggest Anaheim and Lindholm are really close to an agreement. Talking hundred thousand apart, not a million.
  3. iHeartMedia (parent of iHeartRadio) was founded in 2008. On January 6, 2016, iHeartMedia announced that the iHeartRadio service would expand into Canada as part of a licensing deal with Bell Media—which, similarly to iHeartMedia, is the country's largest radio station operator. The company described the Canadian version of the service as being a "franchised" operation; Bell will handle Canadian music licensing, marketing, and distribution of the service, and provide content from its properties. Bell also gained rights to organize iHeartRadio-branded events in Canada; the first prominent instance came with the co-branding of an annual awards show organized through Bell's cable channel Much as the 2016 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. The service is expected to launch in mid-2016. The Canadian Serivce became Available on early October 2016 with FM/AM Stations provided by Bell Media and Digital-Only Stations Provided by iHeartMedia. No Custom-Stations or Podcasts are available on The Canadian Service Currently They're delivering Bell Media's stuff online now and through their apps. A lot of promotion on the station recently for it.
  4. We need to match the Lions record over the final two weeks. We do and we host the West Semi-Final. If they win more, they host it.
  5. It's equal. Either way, we just need to match the record of the winning team over the final two weeks. I think the Lions have a better chance of losing at least one to Sask-Sask than the Esks losing to TiCats-Argos. But, really, we control our destiny now.
  6. I doubt that Pittsburgh will have the room given that they're at the cap right now. It would mean finding $1.5M in savings. That won't be easy unless a significant contract goes down injured for some time or if the Jets are willing to take on cap in return. If they could trade Fleury for a low paid goaltender that they could expose in the expansion draft. Unless they have one in the system, already?
  7. Based on TBurg's argument, MOS must be the 2nd best coach in the league, given he has the 2nd best record. Looks like the Bombers have done well to get him and will do well to keep him.
  8. $1.5 mill average. At that time of year, teams only have a fraction of the cap left. Point is, you're going to have a difficult time including him in any Trouba without taking some salary dollar back, like an experienced LHD like I mentioned earlier.
  9. I'm sure O'Shea stays up at night wondering what would Dickenson do?
  10. Very good point about the salary hit on Stafford. Obviously, the Jets would have to take something back. Maybe an established LHD with an expiring (or near expiring contract). Also, that makes Staf harder to move, even at the TD.
  11. And after not playing for two straight weeks, seems like they would be prime for an upset no matter who plays them!
  12. Ah, gotcha. I should stop reading threads bottom up.
  13. Yeah, it's a vacation being injured with the risk of never playing the game again. This whole comment is absurd. I see it's all sarcasm now. My apologizes I wish there was a sarcasm font.
  14. How is he hampering anyone's development? They could put him in the pressbox if they felt someone was more deserving. Right now, the kids are developing where they should be, where they can get the minutes each night. I wouldn't mind Dano up at the big club but I don't think his development is hampered playing big minutes, dropping passes between his legs in the AHL.
  15. On what basis can you make the claim the "AHL is not helping him"?
  16. I guess I don't entirely disagree with this. However, we need a player that wins faceoffs and Copp wins faceoffs. Last year, Petan didn't get to the circle very often.
  17. I've had some time to reflect on my earlier thoughts.... I would hang onto Stafford now, unless he was part of a bigger package. If the Jets are close to a playoff spot come January/February, he's exactly the type of player we would target. So, keep him now, wait and see.
  18. I would call up Copp or De Leo before calling up Petan. I wouldn't shed a tear for Staf or Burmi. I still think Staf is good enough for the 3rd line until he hits his streak. He's also a good veteran that will help teach the kids the right way to play. But if we could get a decent pick for him now, I might go for it.
  19. It's amazing they find the stadium each day with that type of blind luck. They traded for Nicholls. They drafted Loffler. And they signed Medlock.
  20. Does MOS have a more talented team around him now? Yes. Are they winning now that he has better talent? Yes. Has Walters brought in more talented players each year? Yes. Extend them. 5 and 3 sounds about right.
  21. Presumably, LaPo would be promoted again to HC, if MOS left. Hoping we can keep both!
  22. He's definitely playing well but he really needs to start putting up points. I wouldn't put Thorburn in front of him but I was shocked at how few points Armia has in his NHL career, so far. With the way he works, you would expect more. Just hoping he can contribute on the score sheet soon.
  23. Better than Stuart standing there watching the play go around him.
