    Covid-19

I'm talking about the decision making process and decisions and trade offs they made behind closed doors. Behind the scenes, it's a ongoing struggle to keep things balanced.

    Covid-19

I'll tell you, this govt, like the one before it (and I'm sure all previous ones), struggle with the balance. Rural is wieghted really heavily in policy and spending decisions. NDP were the same, if you can believe it.
  3. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Cody doesn't want to taunt the defensive line. Just a guess, though.
  4. Some thought that they were joining another protest.
  5. He did a great job of rolling that out. It wasn't quite ready but they chose to speed that up because of the climate. That was great!
  6. I think so. I think the rule that if you lie about your vax status, you're out of the league, was the right one. There's been some good stuff. But, overall, I think his leadership has been poor and, when the league needed leadership the most, we were left wanting.
  7. It's wasn't the language that was offensive, it was the suggestion that I can't see the league being run poorly and that I should be watching the NFL instead. I love the CFL but can still disagree with decisions being made by the leadership. The hubris. I said that it was an impossible situation created by MLSE/Argos. Since they've already enforced this rule several times throughout the season, why not continue to enforce it? But, since Bell is making the decision because they own the league via TSN and own the Argos, you need to fine them heavily. I'm getting all the other teams on the phone. Unless you get unanimous consent to change the rule, you don't. I think most teams would see the value in the having a somewhat decent Argo team out there. Call the PA and get their approval. I would use part of the MLSE fine to reimburse the players that were suspended earlier in the year for their missed wages. But, it doesn't matter what the outcome is, it still looks terrible on the league. And, that's the point.
  8. I hope the TiCats signed off on this change (as well as the other teams) and that MLSE gets a heavy fine.
  9. I think it's being run like a joke. And, I certainly don't need your trash opinion. And then some. .
  10. Both are horrible outcomes and make this league a joke.
  11. Yeah, the CFL has rules for the Argos and for the rest of the teams.
  12. At the very least, this makes the on-field product better (probably) but what a joke.
  13. Change the rules on the fly. Bravo, CFL! What a s***show. Take a bow!
  14. So, what about all the players that missed games this season because the rules were enforced? It's an awful mess and everyone looks terrible. Thanks again, MLSE for being horrible!
  15. That was an uuuuuuuugly draft. Konar looked like a steal at 25 but not so much recently.
  16. And the opposite is true too, making up history in your own mind. I thought he Richards was drafted right after him and the second receiver off the board. Jake Harty was selected by the RBs at 10, one ahead of Richards.
  17. The CFL has it's own travel rules, not related to Covid, that require the team to travel together. So, a player couldn't just drive to the game, as opposed to taking the team charter, in order to get around the Covid travel rules.
  18. Again, chef's kiss of incompetence all around. Now I'm sad that I'm going to miss that game.
  19. Nope. Just can't travel per Canada inter-provincial rules. Since he's not traveling to another province or by plane/train, he can go.
  20. My source for Masoli's vaxx status:
  21. The plane is a connection to our long history of having an air force base in Winnipeg. CFB Winnipeg was built in 1925, I think.
