bustamente

BOD replaced, Wade Miller fired, Walters fired, MOS fired. Rest of coaching staff gone. The only one who has done anything is Richie Hall. He has taken a defense that started slow and was inept and has molded a above average d, still a work in progress but a least there's progress. Have a feeling none of this will happened till after the season unless there's some token sacrifice, Pat Tracey i'm looking at you. No I think it will be statue quo for the rest of the season. I hope i'm wrong but this horror movie is far from over. And by the way i don't want to hear we would have won if Willy would have played, they would have killed us if Durant would of played.

I see, we just play with 2 less players overall...leave those positions blank.Well, there is a certain logic to that. The "il" logic. Goosen and Newman don't make anywhere near starters money so you can find a couple of backups no problem not everyone in the CFL makes big coin. Money that was not spent wisely in the off season.

I'm sure they could find a backup somewhere, Calgary seems to have no problem finding backups for all OL positions.

Well, we don't know the reason Lemon didn't sign with us, now do we? By the way, the money we saved by not getting Lemon, is on the table now.. They would saved some monies by not paying Picard and Hurl's salary, but they still would have to pay 2 starters at those positions in any event, so the savings would be less, and at least one of them would have to be an NI, so there's that.And... Penton, who even knows more than CapGeek, says the Bombers have lots of cap space remaining, and are pursuing Muamba. Already had players on the roster to put in those position. Goosen at centre and Newman at outside linebacker. I wonder what excuse the bombers willl give if they don't sign any guys coming back up north. There's lots of time left this season and they should if possible be trying to improve this team on both sides of the ball.

Keep in mind that a centre who can't block nor snap consistently anymore is getting $200,000 all in. And that's one of the reason's we couldn't get Shawn Lemon and might prohibit us from bidding on future free agents this year. The bombers are probably tapped out with some of the summer free agent contracts they gave out. They didn't need Picard or Hurl that's an easy 300k that they could use now to help either side of the ball.

If you want Henoc here you gonna have to over pay, believe he'll want to play in the east and if dollars are the same that's where he goes. Also i would not pay him anywhere close to 250,000 that's just way to much for a lb.

Loyalty is very rare in sports today, hopefully his time here meant something to him but i doubt it and i dont blame him

3-4 problem solved

Isn't he like 23 2421 played one year USHL was draft eligible put up a lot of points played on the line with a Jet draft pick. Let's see what he does with the young guns next week, nothing really to lose if anything could be a good project player

if he wants to sign a long term contract great, if he's looking for the rest of the year only see ya. He won't help get us into the playoffs this year.

Love to see him back but Bombers are a bad team at the moment and he'll be looking for big cash. He also might want to play closer to home.

Highly optimistic

Even if he doesn't get another sniff in the NFL, get the feeling he won't come back here

Agreed both will Jets in the future, they will not be rushed, just continue to learn and get better.

Kosmo will be in the AHL this year, still has a way to go. Lemieux will go back to juniors for another year, definitely a very good prospect future Jet down the road.

Was he not given a bonus that counts against this years sms

The price tag of our free agents must of been higher, bryant , picard, westermen, hurl, and resigning willy cost us a pretty penny

Which makes the 2 games versus the riders must have wins

That game was hard to watch

Well at least we didn't trade for Marsh. But Lulay just can't stay on the field anymore

There's a saying that everybody loves the backup QB until he actually gets into the game and everybody finds out why he is a backup.

Is this the end of Marve as a Bomber?

I will focus more on both tackle positions against the riders to see whose getting double teamed. I'm just feel that he's been neutralized this year when in the past he caused havoc from his position.

What do you honestly expect from him though? Lots of sacks and tackles for a loss? Seems to me he's sort of taking the role of big strong guy trying to make room for others in the defence this year. That's not a position that generally gets yourself covered in glory. I expect push up the middle from a defensive tackle , disrupt the play ,shed block , make a tackle once in a while, keep OL off the LB. He's just not doing that this year.

Anderson has been a disappointment for me this year i expected more from him. I do know if he is still bothered by last years injury but his play has been below average this year.
