Jake is always the oh crap dl that moves to ol in a pinch. when needed they change numbers in game. It’s happened twice before. Yeah excited to see fox. I wish Jackson got real de reps in pre season. I don’t mind carrying him as a da to play teams and short yardage plus heavy set but I’d love to see some defensive versatility too. That and or Hansen being healthy. If he was 100 this wouldn’t be an issue. Plan is no one get hurt. wonder if cap space is real tight and the globals are just dirt cheap. Keeping a couple of these guys around while we cut blue chip imp prospects in camp is real confounding.

If I was them I wouldn’t have said any thing. Leave the bombers guessing and preparing for both. Leave fine fine to prep but less pressure. I’m much more comfortable with the bombers knowing fine is coming.

If they can end the season close to that healthy it’ll be a painful play offs for our competitors. Bryant reminded me of Larry Allen bolting down field to make a td saving tackle on a pick. With Dobsons improvements, Eli getting healthy, and Jackson added to the blocking scheme you have a terrifying prospect for defenders. Especially in the run game. Not to mention the WRs flying around hitting dbs and lbers. Brady is poised for a monster year.

I like both mills and Logan a lot too. Nothing else they could say. One week in and Bryant seems to have found the fountain of youth.

Honestly I went into reading it expecting it to be some Chris jokes gong show. It really didn’t sound like that. Even just from his perspective and I’m sure the truth is some where between his position and the elks. They weren’t timing or any thing they just watched the launch to make sure guys didn’t creep up. Sounds to me like the elk didn’t want to see the specialists at their best and most comfortable. They wanted to stress test them. Making them do all 3 jobs makes sense not just with cfl rosters but to know what the guy has for versatility. Mid 70s is likely low 20s to maybe 25c. the only really dumb thing it sounds like they did was bring 1 jug of water. That is all the kinds of stupid. Some old really dumb coaches used to restrict water in heat. We all know how that worked out and why it’s not done any more. Could be Chris jones is one, I wouldn’t be stunned. Could be they were lazy ill prepared and indifferent. Which is no surprise either.

Half of our pr is dead weight. And what’s worse is we have 2 of that quality guy on the active roster. If he’s on the 6 game for 2 stints and plays 6 while being 100% for the post season it’s worth keeping him around imo.

Not sure about walker. He doesn’t have the explosiveness or ability to get off the block. He’s tough hard working and smart but man he doesn’t seem like a starting quality imp. Yeah me either. I guess they just like his toughness or some thing.

We might stick walker or Thomas at end more. Walker has a hand full or more reps at end in game 1. When Eli is healthy szott should be lucky to get an apple and a road map. Maybe machino when Hansen is healthy too. Hopefully cam Lawson will be healthy soon too which means Schmekel can go to the pr. think ni wr is good too. Lber is good, don’t need a fb. Rb would be nice but not likely to happen. I think the only ni dbs we’d see is if ford is cut or when Hallett is healthy. Really I don’t expect us to find any quality ni mid season.

If we aren’t gonna use him as a dna then we don’t need him. And it doesn’t seem like we are gonna use the dna to exploit like most teams. We need Thomas/Lawson and a new wil. They rotated walker at end too. It’s execution. They didn’t execute. He isn’t gonna truck a dt and go in. No push no score. I’m sure they will get better. It doesn’t happen often but some times the dl just wins in short yardage.
