As an example of why we need an active government, I reference the current Canada Bread price-fixing scandal.

Anyone want to take a guess at how many light bulbs are in use at any one time across the departments that Buildings & Maintenance are responsible for?  Also, Buildings & Maintenance are notoriously understaffed and therefore need to prioritize their calls.  Heaven help everyone if heating/cooling goes down.

Weird how people say things they regret when they don't take the time to consider what other people are saying.

Why do you insist on saying this about polls? You know they don't ask every voting age Canadian lol. It makes any point you're trying to make laughable.

It's the bureaucracy that keeps corruption out. Redundancies in accounting, procurement and purchasing helps keep corruption out- see russia and Ukraine (UKR getting much better).

Nope someone has to administer all the government programs. 
And you can't just "optimize" without going down the privatization road. If there was that much bloat some government would have just solved it already.  You can't do it, and if you try you wind up pushing to private delivery of said services.

That's not what that poll says, but you already know that.  51% of respondents said either stay the course or there isn't a better alternative to Trudeau, despite change being their preference.
