  1. Pretty weak. Stuff like this happens all the time but doesn't get caught on the mic.
  2. Exactly. Everybody assumes that one event doesn't influence another. Teams play differently with leads.
  3. You are completely wrong. Look at where the Riders points came from in both games in Winnipeg. Offence didn't put up enough points in the first game and gave up 2 direct TDs, special teams did the same yesterday. If the O and ST don't hand the Riders points, both games in Winnipeg are easy Bomber wins even with 200 rushing yards against. When a team has a big lead their approach to the game changes. The only number that matters is the final score.
  4. but only one TD drive given up. D and O weren't the reasons this game was a loss, it's all on the special teams gaffes and the penalties. This is how Stamps fans are talking about their defense giving up big plays to Edmonton last night. Hey, we gave up some big plays. But so what we still won. What's Calgary best known for? The Big Choke in the playoffs. I think we'll see them give up too many big plays on defense in the Western Final & lose again. MOS can't be happy with 200 yds rushing on the ground. If he is, well he's living in a dream world. Is Chamblin thrilled with giving up 360 yards passing? Teams play differently with leads. Chamblin is happy with the win but concerned with Durant I'd say.
  5. Apparently it was good enough.
  6. Really? Man that is a strange one to explain because Kuale is hot garbage.
  7. Calgary and Sask sure seem like they stick with the run for four quarters... watch BC combo Logan, Harris and Brown against us next week - another test of Etch's 'flexibility' BC doesn't have a quality o-line so they can't run it as consistently.
  8. His late hit on Dressler is the very definition of a bone-headed selfish play. The guy has rocks in his head, literally.
  9. Yup, but 196 yards rushing against the Bomber defence severely hindered what the offence could do.
  10. The "facts" according to Jpan85. Sounds like a good title for a podcast.
  11. Uhm...okay...whatever it takes to you get you worked up.
  12. Really? What I heard was that he thinks Rider fans are louder. Pretty typical comment for a player to make about his fan base.
  13. Windy day is it?
  14. Special Teams are looking really weak for the Riders this game.
  15. Chevon Walker is one of the softest running backs I have ever seen in the CFL. Quick and shifty? Yep, but soft as butter between the tackles. He is the worst offender for the "either makes a huge play for a touchdown or gets completely shut down" category. I can not believe the redblacks have stuck with him all year. It's the easiest position to recruit for how in gods name did they not find a better option? Judging from the rest of their team the Redblack scouting system leaves much to be desired. Also, it would help if they didn't spend 10% of their SMS budget on a washed up, stat chasing bra-wearing buffoon.
  16. He's dressing. How much he will play remains to be seen. He's listed as a starting slot back but that doesn't always mean much. You guys have a ton of injured Canadians, do you even have anyone healthy worth putting on the roster in place of him? It is getting pretty thin. Alex Pierzchalski may actually get onto the field for more then special teams. Webster will draw into the lineup. Where it really hurts is with special teams and this helps to explain how in three consecutive games the Riders have given up return touchdowns. Save for Best the names all appear pretty minor but losing depth hurts the teams a lot.

  19. That game should end any love affair the Ottawa media previously had with Stank Burrass. A raw rookie could have won that game for the Redblacks. A waste of a great effort by their defence thanks to Smilin' Stank.
  20. Sounds like he's dressing at the very least. No doubt he's hurt as he didn't practice a lot.
  21. Mercy Rule in full effect.
  22. Guyton with better touch then Nichols!
  23. Texacan?
  24. Mitchell is pretty frickin solid.
