  1. We had one... probably the best in the league... unfortunately he was a little too good and is now a Colt... Yep. He's playing with a good linebacker the Riders lost in Freeman.
  2. Stranger things have happened. Personally I like rolling with the young guys and with any SMS money saved try and extend Heenan and/or TBrack.
  3. Fans from all teams have certain people who will always do that. I find it is best not to judge an entire group by the actions of some.
  4. Lots of games left to determine playoffs. The Bombers still have their own destiny in their hands. The game against BC is close to a must win at this stage.
  5. Agreed. When healthy Lulay was a beaut. The game needs more stars not less.
  6. Speaking of fallacies, I never blamed the refs I simply stated the obvious. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your desire to argue ANY point. so then why are you arguing with me about the refs? Nope, not playing role reversal. I stated the officiating in the league this year has been abysmal. You took it from there, bud. Besides I am entitled to tell people when their opinions are wrong. The officiating seems to be worse with Johnson as the head of officiating. One thing they are doing that I hate is rotating officials so their are no consistent crews. This leads to a lot more inconsistent calls as speaking from experience officiating with the same guys allows you to get a chemistry.
  7. I was surprised at how poorly Kromah played last game. Really felt he could be an impact player but some guys go invisible when the lights go on. It's tough to find an impact mlb.
  8. Yep. Roger's plan to use that to their advantage has blown up in their face. Buffalo will block any and all efforts by Toronto to get a franchise.
  9. I hate Rogers.
  10. I hate back to back games. I understand why the league does it but it certainly isn't ideal. Luckily, this season seems to have less then before. The scheduling this season also magnified how poor the East Division is in comparison to the West. This is a very poor way to promote the game.
  11. Tim Tebow lacks both the arm strength and accuracy to make the throws necessary to play on the large CFL field.
  12. On a bit of a positive/hopeful note, Flutie had a similar injury and was back within seven weeks. My thoughts are with the player in this situation hoping that he makes a full and complete recovery and is able to get back to earning a living and doing what he loves ASAP.
  13. Actually most are okay with Sunseri. There is no replacing Durant but the Riders are a veteran team with a tonne of talent. Tino doesn't have to force anything. Is it really the case that "most are okay with Sunseri" or is it, You don't really have a choice other than to go with Sunseri.Well, we have no choice but most are confident that Tino will do "okay." He's not Darian but he'll do fine. His completion percentage this year is 52% (Sunseri) that's less than Alex Brink, only 5% better than Troy Smith.... That average sucks but how many balls has he thrown? A comparable number to Brink at least. Not like his job is going to get any easier either, he's got a lot of games against tough defenses to look forward to. Last year, in the half of football he knew he was going to play against Edmonton, Tino was 14 of 18 and a passer rating of 105. That was against a bad Edmonton team but they were playing their starters and he looked poised. He'll do okay and if not what can you do? Crap happens sometimes.
  14. This makes me smile. Time for Toronto to get behind the Argos and support the CFL.

You mean like 3-0? oh you can use numbers? Then what impresses you about Tino, other then the fact that he's wearing green. Last game of 2013 Tino played against the Eskimos and had excellent stats and that "it" factor. Further he came of the bench against BC for the second half trailing the game and led the Riders to a comeback win. He's decent. You'll see.
  16. Both teams made multiple mistakes in each and every game so what is your point exactly? For F sakes, in the last game alone the Riders fumbled the ball twice on third and short! Add to that a myriad of penalties on the Riders in the first game and a punt return given up for a touchdown in the LDC. It seems that as fans we love remembering the screw-ups that our team made but so quickly and easily dismiss the other team's blunders. I wouldn't call a punt return touchdown a "mistake", that'd be like calling a rushing touchdown allowed a mistake. The other team gets paid to play too. What I'm talking about is fumbles. Interceptions. Plays that swing field position and momentum. You may have won all three and credit is certainly deserved for that but let's be honest for a second ... you didn't win a single game by more than one possession. Your margin of victory in each game was either 5 or 6 points. We turned the ball over seven times in the first game, twice in the second and three times in the third. That's 12 turnovers in 3 games compared to only 3 for Saskatchewan. Your turnover ratio was +9 and you only won by a combined margin of 17 points in 3 games. You don't think turnovers were a BIG factor? Not only that but we had over 100+ yards of penalties the last game. That right there can cost you the game. Kind of like the Riders in the first game at IGF on a short week? No wait, the Riders won anyway. Come on guys, focus on pounding the Lions. Now you can go back to riderfans and tell them how silly we are. I gather you come here to pick up some ammo? Nope. Bombers are in the rearview mirror. I'm here to talk football and found myself tied up in a bit of a donnybrook. Please don't torture yourself here! What? Are you Tag Smith 2? Who?

  19. All the while I am hoping you guys stomp the rest of the west. Oh well.

At least you find out if Sunseri is ok or not.
  21. There is a big debate going on. Personally I am in favour of rolling with Sunseri. Not too many decent vets around anyway. MICHAEL BISHOP REUNION TOUR!!! lol no...just no!

  25. There was at least two illegal blocks on the Stoudemire return if one wants to play that game.
