  3. Through all this discussion about our useless GM Walters, Osh leaving for Toronto (please go), firing Hogan or maybe losing Brady if we don't, Zach's unhappiness, Younger & his Cheetos no pass rush defense, Walters not doing enough this past off season, Osh roster management issues.... All I want is a change. The room has gone stale. It stinks. We need Wade Miller to go in & open the window wide to let a fresh breeze in. As a fan, I want change. Meaningful & serious change. I don't care if that means head rolls & we don't renew the contracts of Walters & O'Shea. After 12 freaking years, the team has to do something to shake it up. I don't want to watch my team decline further while we have a GM mail it in another off season. While players & coaches who should be gone get special treatment & undeservedly stick around for another season. After 12 going on 13 seasons, I don't think as a fan that I can take anymore of this **** because I know it'll just get worse.
  4. That's the system the DC designed. The lack of a pass rush is on Younger. That's why our D is all linebackers & dbs. They got lit up last Saturday. Another year of Osh means more of the same. More Younger. More Cheetos.
  5. His berta look may not fly in the big smoke. Might need a makeover.
  6. If we continue on this path it'll lead to us falling off a cliff. I foresee terrible times ahead.
  7. That's why you need a competent OC... someone like JJ.
  8. The RedBlacks went deep & signed Dinwiddie. They're serious & all in about winning. How serious are we???
  9. Yep. Imo if you brought in khari he’d be a position coach and support Jackson who’d be the oc. You could have both work with qbs, and khari also coach wrs while being offensive assistant. Qbs are underrated as wr coaches. They’re much better at helping wrs and qbs build chemistry and understand what the qb is looking for. Khari was also one of the last qbs to call his own plays, is much better coaching rpos and btl screen packages. Though I do worry if khari would be the worst guy to put with zach. Two guys who just wanna chuck bombs lol
  10. We gave up a lot due to having no pressure. Tackling does need to improve for sure though. That’s all on leadership, discipline and accountability which no CO can install with a soft hc, and players like wj coasting. Especially owe this length of time.
  11. 18-18....but also one yr was thrust into the Als job what...like a week before season started???...Something like that...and then still got em 10-8...was OC for Hamilton that brought them to EF I believe...QB coach for Rider Grey cup win....I'd discount his Ottawa stuff as that is just a place to go and die....and was ultra bad when he was there...gets a Mulligan for that
  12. Love everything Khari did while here but has he ever won anything ever at any point in his playing and coaching career? I'm not convinced he's a CFL coach... Tho admittedly he'd have been an upgrade over Hogan (from as little as I can tell from the stands)...
  13. that added to it...that also gets don to the coaching and lack there of...and minimal practices when you could have had more per week and not violated PA rules....and lack of actual focus and teachings of thihs in practice...just assuming things would "work out" Poor all around how this team was ran...and constructed Had a few seasons of top players...on their prime...on the cheap in some instances....and a better roster than the other teams...and they had a bit of success....let it all erode...got complacent and lazy...slide to the depths we at Almost 3 yrs ago i said it's coming...seen it before...been thru it....an if certain things continued we would see what has happened and quickly....and all the "yah buts" mean jackshit...and low and behold
  14. Could be personnel, I just saw way to many play with no pressure no coverage and poor tackling, especially down the stretch.
  15. I'm biased but I'd love to bring Khari home
  16. Yesterday
  17. I think the scheme was fine, you just need the right guys up front to make it work. So this goes to who is responsible for that
  18. I’ll pay for his ticket, first class, to toronto. Then he can find his way where ever he pleases.
  19. is that like a doughnut....but different?
  20. It's a start. Allah the merciful will reward you.
  21. I can offer up $10 and a five day old doughnit.
  22. If I read O'Shea's personality correctly, he will absolutely balk at not having "his guys" and bail- we can only hope. I am also a Khari cheerleader.
  23. We ran the 30 significantly less this last year than the previous year. Our front play was basically entirely different. The previous year we used a wide alignment hoping ends could win a battle. This year we used a tight alignment to close the middle. The delay blitz, is a play adjustment based on what the offence does. Lber has HCF zone, if the qb rolls or is flushed he becomes a rusher. The actual delayed blitz was extremely low use from JY, and the Lber blitz package was a tiny fraction of previous years. 2 years ago JY made a D with a new secondary that dominated opposition passing games. But teams eventually adjusted to the drop 9 rush 3. This year, we ran the drop 9 match zone much less that we ran last year. Calgary ran our previous years base D much more than we did. The secondary JY managed to cobble together could not work the switches and split field zones to save their life. So he again had to recreate the entire D, mid season. Tbh, what JY did the last 2 seasons is the most impressive thing I've ever seen from a DC up here. If we fix the ratio, roster the best players, and give him a DL who can get a farts worth of pressure next year that D will carry us. When you look at the stretch where wj wasn't able to accomplish any thing, and we ran 2 canadian DTs with korny on the ar playing primary reps its truly astounding how good the D ended up performing. That was the most pitiful DL I've ever seen pound for pound at any level. I've seen junior teams do better with no more than 1 guy over 200 lbs on their dl.
  24. I could see him in a Lada.
  25. yup....arguably the worst defensive front in recent history...2 yrs running when you really look at it... Hopefully OC Guy just packs up his Volkswagen Beetle and leaves voluntarily...I dont know what he drives...But that's what I see him in
  26. We are all hoping and praying you are correct. Maybe we can crowd-fund Hogan's one-way busfare?
  27. JY took a defensive unit with no ability to get pressure from the DL, or gap cancel, and gave up the fewest opposition points and tds in the league. Not to mention we ran away with the league lead on offensive give aways, leaving our D in a terrible field position field. They also played among the most minutes as our off was among the worst in 2nouts. We also gave up the fewest first downs. 2nd lowest passing yards against, lowest completion percentage against. 2nd best in terms of opposition QBR. We had the lowest of TDs per drive given up on D in the league by a large margin. Worst front 6 in the league by a mile, and he gave us one of the best defenses in the league. Not only that, he did the same thing last year. Both years, he had to wholly rebuild our secondary mid season. If we had a decent DL, and didn't use all our DIs on special teams, his D the last two years would've been 21 levels of dominant maybe even more so.
